The first issue is two nurses failed to show up for work without calling. This issue will take about a week to resolve. The first step is to immediately ensure that their shifts for the day are covered. Then, I would review the attendance policy that is currently in place. I would verify that there is an attendance policy and ensure that it is being enforced. Following the policy review I would document the occurrence in the respective employee files. Lastly, I would set time to meet with the employees individually and go over the policy and the expectations.

1. Hornick role as a giver as described in Give and Take by Adam Grant is that he is less concerned about how something will profit him directly and more concerned about giving away his time and knowledge to help the people that he is working with. Mr. Hornick indeed wanted to work with Mr. Shader but he was more interested in Mr. shader getting the best deal and feeling the most conferrable with the person he would decide to invest with. Even before he had sign a deal with Mr. Shader, Mr. Hornick was already helping him by not only giving him the freedom to shop around other investors but also by not pressuring him to sign with him. Even though Mr. Shader originally passed on signing with him, he was so taken by the way Mr. Hornick conducted
The Interest Profiler is just one of five O*NET Career Exploration Tools. The other tools are: The Computerized Interest Profiler — helps you find out what your work related interests are. It is similar to the paper-and-pencil Interest Profiler, except that you answer and score the questions on a computer. The Ability Profiler — helps you find out what kinds of jobs you can learn to do well. It can help you recognize where your strengths are and where you might need more training or education. The Work Importance Locator — helps you decide what is important to you in a job. It can help you identify occupations that you may find satisfying. The Work Importance Profiler — a computer-based version of the Work Importance Locator (O*NET Resource Center, 2000). These tools can be helpful when you look for what interest you the most about a career. It can also help you to identify a career that would fit you.
It provides information about all the accounts in the General Fund and the totals of all other governmental funds. According to the notes on page 144, “in the fiscal year 2010-11, the City implemented GASB 54 under which governmental fund balances are reported as nonspendable, restricted, committed, assigned, and unassigned. For the fiscal year 2009-10 fund balances have been characterized to comply with GASB 54 in order to facilitate year-to year comparisons.” This made the report’s presentation look unusual. Half of the page contains the old account names and the balances from 2005 to 2009. The other half of the page presents the new way of reporting the fund balances and the information for the following years. The last report for this section is the Changes in Fund Balances of Governmental Funds. The change on the presentation of fund balances did not affect the presentation of this report. The major changes that happed the fund balances seem to be a negative ending balance from 2008 to 2011. Most likely due to the
Even data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView or SAP Lumira which convey copious amounts of useful analysis is useless if the analysis it spits out is not analyzed by an analyst. Behind every analysis there is a story that needs to be extracted. This can only be possible if the right people are invested to tell stories from the output. The analytics tools are only one part of the equation for success. A computer system cannot do the full monitoring of the vast amounts of data, a human intellect is needed to look at the results of the analyses, and then recommend what steps to take in order to maximize the strengths and decrease the weaknesses which the data points out.
Using this option, users have an access to organized data (number of visits from each country) for the past 30 days. Small businesses mostly do not operate internationally, however, it can help mangers of small businesses as it can be considered an opportunity for future activities in potential location where they get a large number of visitors. For instance, if a small business provides services or products mainly in Korea and less Japan but they see high traffic of their page is coming from japan, they can conclude that their advertising method or product they are selling is working well in japan. As a result, they can start or improvise their business through higher investment and target based advertisements regarding needs of customers in that location. Going deeper in geographical based report, managers can get detailed data of which area (cities) they are getting higher number of visitors. This information allows managers of small businesses to increase their understanding of potential areas so that they can manage their investments
This infographic, apparently, is trying to show us the size of the Mobile market. There is not one but twelve overlapping pie charts, ample use of garish colors that convey no information, use of sans serif fonts, and even a secondary bar graph at the bottom. The pie charts have different relative sizes but one cannot be sure why: some pies represent billions of some unit, e.g. numbers and dollars, and others percentages. Some pie charts overlap others for no apparent reason, yet others overlap to possibly show a magnified view of a slice (e.g. the Hardware Revenue section of the green pie chart). The values in the “Top 5 smartphones” pie chart do not add up
It can also determine where the customer drops off (Google Analytics, n.d.). Funnel visualization report helps Google Analytics users to determine the traffic that reached each step of the funnel and how many of the traffic leave a certain funnel (Pienaar, A., 2015). The report gives users the number of traffic that goes through different processes such as checking difference products, viewing the cart, inputting personal information, managing delivery addresses, giving credit card details and clicking payment button (Pienaar, A.,
After watching the video I believe the controls tool that are used by Northern Foods are: control and trend charts, histogram, flow chart, and a scatter diagram. A scatter diagram is used for analyzing relationship of two distinct variables in a horizontal or vertical axis. A histogram is use for the distribution for numerical data. The control chart is used for as an analysis tool. The flow chart is a type of diagram that indicated the workflow or process flow, and showing the exact

This will make it easy for you to audit and critique your report in the future. In addition to that, when auditing your report, you need to pay attention to the following sections: Missed
Analytics means using data and performing statistical analysis on it, applying quantitative and predictive models, in order to arrive at a certain decision. Analytics can be the first step in a process or can rather be an intermediate step as well. Analysis can be done using different set of tools that are available in the market or it can done manually using different concept and formulas. Business intelligence firms like Cognos, SAS and BusinessObjects have developed different tools that are readily available in market that assist in analysis and decision making.
