Alex Dulsky It was November 12 when spacecraft Rosetta caught up with the comet called Churyumov-Gerasimenko better know as 67P (Lauren, 2014). The journey took 6.4 billion miles to complete (Lauren, 2014). Also Rosetta sent a lander called Philae to explore the comet and take picture among other things (Lauren, 2014). Interestingly enough when the media reported the comet landing I thing is trumped Kim kardashian attempt at breaking the internet with her nude photos which the media was cover at about the same time as the comet landing. With all that being said you might be asking why should I care? You should care about this comet because comets came from and can tell us about our solar system, also there has not been any unique and important mission as this one, further more it might be the last space mission we get to experience for a while. Now I am going to get in to what comets are and how they got here and talk a little bit

Studying this comets might finally unlock some of the questions we have been asking for centuries like why are we here , are we just some random accident, what is our purpose. Most members of the scientific community and some outside of it believe in evolution the ideal that we evolved from single celled organisms in the ocean; some scientists believe that this water came with the necessary nutrients and minerals for evolutionary life to begin (Lauren, 2014). Sure there have been other mission in space many in fact landing on the moon, sending robot to versus to name a few, but I don't believe that they are going to have as much of an impact as this comet mission will. These are just a few things that make this mission so unique and important because is going to help use learn more about our selves, our world and the worlds around
"First, I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth."- John F. Kennedy. On a warm July night in 1969, this dream came true. Millions of people sat captivated in front of their TVs witnessing one of the most monumental events in history, Neil Armstrong walking gracefully on the moon. This event in US history changed the way we look at space forever. Political issues such as the Vietnam War and foreign affairs were on the forefront of American's minds. Thousands of people came peacefully together in a historical concert event called Woodstock. Children were introduced to a place called "Sesame Street" and Heavy Metal meant more than just an old car. The year 1969 impacted American's lives today in politics, science, sports, art, entertainment and daily living.

The stimulation we had to do for class focused on a piece of land in Cleveland OH that once belonged to a nuclear factory. This land consisted of 4 acres in the north-central section of Ward 12, and adjacent to ward 3. The allotment is positioned closely to many low-income segments of the South Broadway neighborhood. The goal was to come up with an idea on what should replace the decommissioned factory and create the biggest benefit for the community.
Our mission is to provide our customers with the best products and services that we have created a new market space for. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and taking what used to be multiple purchases of software into one operation system. That can increase many aspects of the important sectors within the restaurant industry. I.e. decrease employee-training time, increase outputs, real-time record keeping ‘including inventory’, and more.
A comet is a small icy body that travels in an elliptical orbit around the sun. Halley’s Comet, or 1P/Halley, is the most well-known “periodic” comet that orbits the solar system and returns to Earth’s vicinity approximately every seventy-six years. It is one of the only comets that can be seen from Earth that is visible to the naked-eye, and can appear twice in one’s lifetime. The comet’s last visit was in the year 1986, and it is calculated to return mid-2061.
Have you had to write a story? Have you had to write an essay? Have you had to write a research report on a specific topic or a persuasive essay persuading the reader? These types of writing all have a purpose and they can be similar and different in many ways. Write down some ways they are similar and different.

Did you know that Comets are tiny pieces of stuff left over from when our Solar System was born? Philae’s Mission is very important to scientists because, he was on a comet. Since Philae was on a comet he could collect samples and other things scientists want to understand early history of the Solar System. The Philae Mission is important for scientific research, he took a long time to get there and he landed in a bad spot.
An identity is who you are as a person; it’s what describes you. For example, your name is your identity. Its what people call you and how you response to people with the name they use to call on you. An identity is the person you are to society, to Eastern Illinois University most students are an E#. Identity is who you are.
Astronomers trust that comets are leftovers of ice, rocks and gas from what shaped the planets billions of years ago. They also trust comets are strongly linked to life on earth, bringing some of the water and carbon based molecules that fuels life on soil.
A comet is a celestial object consisting of a nucleus of ice and dust and, when near the sun, a “tail” of gas and dust particles pointing away from the sun. Halley’s Comet is most famous for its seventy-five year orbital. Edmund Halley, whom the comet is named after, thought that this comet was the same comet to have appeared in 1607 and 1531. Later, discovered to be factual, Halley estimated that this comet would return in seventy-five years. Halley’s comet is most famous for returning multiple times as well as being known as
For a long time, scientists have been wondering exactly what was on the surface of comets. They had not really been able to get up close to the surface of the comets and therefore gathered their information based on observations through various telescopes; that comets were just simply circular balls made of dirty looking ice. However, with the Rosetta/Philae mission, this all changed.
The human body is everything that makes up, well, you. The basic parts of the human body are the head, neck, torso, arms, and legs. Our bodies consist of a number of biological systems that carry out specific functions necessary for everyday living. The following paragraphs are going to explain the functions of two different body systems.
First, you need to know Edmund Halley worked at NASA as an astrophysicist. Halley predicted the orbit of the comet that was later named after him. “He didn't get to see the comet return”-Space.com , but the comet had returned just as he anticipated.
