The Great Depression of the 1930’s caused widespread poverty, but the popular culture of the time did not reflect this. People wanted to escape from this harsh time so movies, dancing and sports became very popular. Radios broadcasted boxing matches and boxers became stars. The heavyweight champion James J. Braddock aka “Cinderella Man,” gained popularity. James Braddock gained fame by winning many fights and proving everyone wrong when they said he was too old and couldn’t win.
The film then releases the full fury of what corrupt politicians can do to a truthful man. The plot of the film will grab the viewer within the first five minutes and will not let go until the astonishing end. Even though this type of thing is implausible it's still very funny and unique in its own way. The acting was superb! James Stewart will always represent the good guy trying to make his way
This movie was a tale of an immigrant seeking money and power who untimely set up his own demise. The producers did a good job at pointing out certain features that let you into the life of an organized crime leader. He tells of his humble beginnings and shows you in details how he rose to the top. The producer had a point to make and I took that point as being you can never get and stay someone good while being bad. The sound effects and graphics also makes this movie. They show just enough to intrigue you but yet not to completely make you sick to your stomach. The music is very telling and

As Little Big Man, directed by Arthur Penn opens up and introduces the Main character Jack Crabb, the sole survivor of General Custer’s last stand, tells the modern day historian about his multiple experiences in life. I felt as if the plot of the movie was a bit intricate , Jack Crabb (Dustin Hoffman)multiple professions or hobbies are a bit too outlandish for one individual. But these different hobbies added some humor to the plot which balanced out the complexity of the plot. It was amusing that Jack had many different lives all encompassed into one life.
When I found out I qualified to be a candidate for the NJHS, I knew I had to take this chance. This group is made up of people who depict leadership, character, citizenship, academic success, and service and I would love to join. These characteristics wouldn't just be valuable for a candidate to have, but for everyone to have to exceed in life. If I were to be in the National Junior Honor Society, it would give me an opportunity to ameliorate my future and motivate me to do better.
While the script is often one of the most crucial elements in a film, the brevity of speech and precise movements of the primary character accentuate the changing nature of his integrity. As viewers follow Captain Wiesler of the East German secret police, it is soon clear that he only says what is necessary, such as when noting his surveillance partner’s lateness or setting instructions for the surveillance bugging team (“twenty minutes”). It is important to note that Wiesler does not say a single word when Axel Stiegler cracks a joke in the cafeteria about Honecker, or when Grubitz himself makes a joke. Only

Truth is one forever absolute, but opinion is truth filtered through the moods, the blood, the disposition of the spectator. - Wendell Phillips (brainyquote.com ) This is a quote from a speech of one of the great American abolitionists, Wendell Phillips. To make forward progress and do critical thinking it is important to separate your opinions and emotions and really look at the facts. Wendell encouraged people to see these facts and to take them to heart.Wendell Phillips had much sympathy for the minorities in America both before and after the Civil War. He became a very persuasive public speaker and used his gift to help abolitionist causes throughout his lifetime. He worked to abolish institutions such
This movie is a legal thriller based on a true story. John Travolta plays as Jan Schlichtmann, a personal-injury attorney whose confidence ties him into a case that nearly destroys his life. Jan Schlichtmann loses nearly everything and hits rock bottom in this movie. However, He does achieve his goal and is satisfied with his decision in the end. In this legal thriller Jan Schlichtmann is persistent, passionate, and very much involved in the climax of the story.
The film by Eric Roth, has the view of a modern fiction story, which is very uncommon for the modern movies now a days. Tom Hanks plays the hero in this film. His character is a man with an IQ of 75, who during his life, between the years of 1950 and 1980, comes in contact with every major event in American history. And somehow he survives all of these events with only honesty and niceness.
I watched the movie called The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The movie was about Mikael Blomkvist who is a journalist and is played by Daniel Craig. After losing in a lawsuit with a corrupt businessman. Dirch Frode who previously had a background check on Mikael from Lisbeth Salanders and invites him to the Vanger estate and greets Mikael. Analysis of Mission Impossible The film ‘Mission impossible’, directed by Brian De Palma, was released in 2001 staring the likes of Tom Cruise, Jon Voight and Emmanuelle Beart. It is and action-thriller, based on the story of an American agent, who, under false suspicion of disloyalty, must discover and expose the real spy without the help of his organisation. The film stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt (protagonist), part of a crack squad of intelligence operatives, based upon the 1960’s T.V series. It incorporates vast amounts of action within a complex and clever storyline.
The film is taking place in Paris. Samy Naceri is playing the lead-ing role as Daniel. Daniel is an illegal taxi driver, because he hasn’t any driver license. In the intro to the film he is overtaking Jean-Louis Schlesser (former worlds best rally driver) and drives a lot faster than him, because he had a woman should who bear, on the backseat. Then they together are trying to get the Japanese Minis-ter of Defence back. At last they succeed, and everything is fine.
