North Carolina Essay
North Carolina is located in between South Carolina, and Virginia. North Carolina was founded by 8 lords in 1660. It only became official in 1710 though, because the North and the South relied so much on each other. This was because the south, and the North had many trading spots. If these were taken away problems would start between the two places. Another reason was because of how they were evolving so differently. Both places had different geographic features, and different types of people. After a while the two places just did not fit or work well together.These 8 lords were given permission to found North Carolina by King Charles II. King Charles the II allowed them to do this because he wanted the lords to help him regain his throne. The only way they were going to help was if he let them found North Carolina. So that's exactly what he did.

It was between the German, Dutch, and British settlers and the Tuscarora Native Americans. The Tuscarora had been in peace with the new settlers for over fifty years. Which was amazing since almost every other colony in the New World was having some sort of conflict. After a while the new settlers began raiding Tuscarora villagers and taking their people for slaves. This was the beginning of a two year war. The new settlers made allies with the Yamasee and Cherokee indians. Who were enemies the the Tuscarora indians. The Tuscarora indians had made many allies too. But it just was not enough. The new settlers won the war. In the end the Tuscarora native Americans and the new settlers made a peace treaty with the colonial officials. The Tuscarora native Americans were to move to a reserved tract of land which later became Bertie county. Most of the Tuscarora Native Americans were not happy with this. So they moved to New York and became part of the 5
