A number of author's are known for writing in one genre. Some author's have written in different genres using a pen name. This is so they can write new things without going away from their core genre. Also, so they don't go away from their core fans an example of this kind of author is Nora Roberts is also known as J.D. Robbs. To understand these authors' we need to know their style and technique, the purpose of their books, and their books of different genres like Northern Lights and Glory in Death.
Understanding why a writer writes the types of books they do we need to understand their style and technique. Nora Roberts has a writing style and technique of being a narrative writer. Northern Lights was about to tell the story of Nate Burke, who has been through a divorce and the death of his police partner (he blames himself for) moves to Alaska as Chief he falls in love with Meg Galloway while trying to solve the death of her father Patrick Galloway. Northern Lights is told with a man as the main character. This book is basically told from Nate Burke's point of view. Glory in Death is about two protagonists Eve and Roarke trying to deal with their feelings for each other; while trying to solve the deaths of two successful women. Nora Roberts is also known as J.D.
