Healthcare is complex and very diverse aspect and like any other business it has its issues both good and bad. One of the contemporary health care issues that we have is medical cost. Medical cost in terms of all costs related to receiving healthcare services from doctor and hospital visits, drug prescriptions, over the counters drugs and a whole lot other more. So for healthcare being just like any other business there are funds that are needed in order to keep things running smoothly and making sure people are satisfied by the services offered to them. Although for profit organizations are known for providing high quality care because they are believed to have good medical equipments and services provided to their patients like more personalized care due to them being small in size, which leads to their high prices. Non-profit organizations however can treat anyone, they have no right to turn anyone away regardless if they can afford it or not because they are funded by local, state and federal funds. While for profit organizations are vice versa they can turn anyone away because they are privately owned but on emergency situations they have to stabilize the patient first then may proceed and send them to a public hospital in this type of scenario private hospitals can ruin their reputation for them being selective on who receives treatment and who …show more content…

Also for the doctors to play a role in it and educate the patients and give them choices on all the ways they can receive treatment therefore when choosing they know what they to expect when the bill comes. The organization should also not pressure the patient's when it comes to making choices regarding their health conditions, if they choose to seek a different doctor from either a non-profit or for-profit organization they should respect that and not interfere with their decision making because they have a right to choose, they should let them know what they are getting themselves to but stand out of the way and let them decide for themselves. They should also address things like monitoring health status to identify and solve community health problems, diagnosing and investigating health problems and hazards, informing and educating people about health problems and hazards, mobilizing the community to solve health problems, and developing policies to support individual and community health
