Nokia Corporation (Nokia) is a big player in mobile industry. Nokia also provides equipment, solutions and services for communications networks through Nokia Siemens Networks. Wireless wizard Nokia continues to cast a spell on the mobile phone market. The company is the world’s number one maker of cell phones, ahead of such rivals as Motorola and Samsung. Nokia is also aiming for the top of the mobile Internet market.

We know that a vision statement is the inspiring words chosen by successful leaders to clearly and concisely convey the direction of the organization. By crafting a clear vision statement, they can powerfully communicate the intentions and motivate the team or organization to realize an attractive and inspiring common vision of the future. Between these companies among several other phone companies they have created millions of jobs and opportunities. Cell phone companies have now created what are known as “smart phones”. These phones are typically slim and sleek and have countless versatile abilities. However, cell phones have not always been so “smart” or small for that matter.
Whit the rise of globalization and technology companies are looking for every advantage to gain a strategic advantage. Having a vision, mission and values statement are one way companies have attained these advantages. A vision is a long term aspiration of where the company wants to go. In the end Microsoft has accomplished their goal as a company and plans to stay there for a while.
