Dear, Mr. Smith
I would like to bring up this program that has been known to us for many years now, I would like to tell you about Travel Abroad. Going over to another place besides the United States would be an amazing experience. New ways of learning would become available to us once we are there. You could learn much more about the area you decide to go, furthering the knowledge you might have had beforehand. Knowing more about a certain area will help you tell people about that place. Giving you stories that you can tell to all of your friends and totally amaze them. The last letter talked about cultural awareness and how important it is to know more about a certain place. It just helps to know such a vast amount of information so that you can never be put into a cultural dispute. Three reason to implement a Travel Abroad system in our school are, cuisine, language and their cultural history.
Starting, with the cuisine and why it may be something cool to learn about, being able to enjoy a new way of cooking. Eating new foods is always enjoyable but much better if the food is exotic. If I had to go anywhere it would be the central parts of Italy just because of all the exquisite foods. I myself would enjoy becoming a taste tester of any and all new foods produced before they are mass produced. Italy’s ways of cooking are by far the best around the world just by the process they take to cook it all. Everyday there is a new type of meal produced in a diner, they just do not seize to amaze. Learning how to cook all this food and the countless ways would be cool just to achieve. Then you could go home and cook for all those friends who think you cannot cook. That is the first reason having such a program in our school would be s...

...laces such as Russia. To be placed in a country where you know nothing gets weird, you cannot speak to anyone and order any food. Food is a much needed commodity especially if you have not eaten for hours. Knowing what kinds of foods might need precaution such as maybe eating a puffer fish. You simply need to know something about the food in their country as something may be poisonous if not cooked right too. The history being just as important to us as it is them because maybe they have holidays that you do not know about. Then you will want to learn about them so that you do know. In the end this program sounds like a lot of fun and seems like it would help learn such interesting things. It never hurts to know too much, only to not know a lot about something. Last thing that is by far most important is that it gives students a new program to put interest towards.
...umers, thus gaining new consumer, and building value. Educating the consumers to appreciate what Academia products offer will lead to future profits and long-term gains. A strategy of stressing Italian fundamentals will help differentiate Academia from its competitors, and at the same time increasing their target market. Italian food is continually becoming more popular around the world, and Academia’s potential to expand will increase by protecting their brand loyalty. Academia should continue to participate in culinary events such as the annual Aspen Food and Wine Festival to promote publicity. Academia should also look to advertise in broader food magazines, such as Zagat. Cookbooks would be another way to reach more consumers. With high quality products, these strategy maneuvers will help management reinforce core competencies and stay ahead of competition.
In staging reality, setting is critical for both Chad and Undine’s performances. In expatriate fiction, Europe is associated with more freedom than Puritanical America and is used as a medium for performers to present and explore both themselves and cultural and social differences between their home in America and abroad. In Going Abroad, William Stowe suggests that Europe is a space in which higher class and non-essential laborers can “prepare for or advance their careers” (Stowe 7). As a continent with a vast collection of cultural goods, Europe conflicts with the barren American landscape. Acquiring a “Europeanized” persona helps Undine and Chad to gain experience that they employ at home, and cultural accumulation provides an advantage
Learning how to prepare cultural dishes is a task that takes a lot more effort than just following a recipe. It's about getting a feel for that culture--the circumstances under which a dish was originally made. Maybe it's just me, but when I'm cooking an Italian dish, I like to research the cultural and historical significance of that dish. And in doing that for each dish that I cook, I gain a deeper appreciation for that dish's
This is what most people would like to ask themselves in terms of being successful on what they love. I was faced with a difficult decision when choosing to stay at Sheridan or coming to Mid-East. Part of me did not want to leave Sheridan because of my friends, classes, teachers and of course just being shy. I think going to Mid-East was the best decision I have made for many different reasons. One reason is because I enjoy all of my academic classes, here at Mid-East I am doing a lot better academically. I have been on the honor roll many times including the last grading period. Another reason I think going to Mid-East was a great decision is because of lab. I love working with the children in lab because they are all really funny and make me laugh often. I also enjoy lab because I am doing hands-on things everyday with children, which is
I am interested in joining the Medical Career Exploration Program because being part of the program will allow me to interact with different areas of the medical field. This is a valuable chance for me to experience how it is like to be a physician at a prestigious hospital. I hope that my communication skills will continue to grow with the program and assist patients, visitors, and family feel satisfied and proud to be part of Brigham and Women’s Hospital. My trip to Beijing, China and Inner Mongolia in 2012 let me realize how important it is to communicate and interact with people of different backgrounds and culture. I was able to build strong and long lasting friendships with elementary school students and faculties as an international mentor. By interacting with a foreign community, I gained a beneficial opportunity of planting and raising field crops to support the local villages.

In the nineteenth century, it seemed impossible to circumnavigate the world in only eighty days. That, however, was exactly what Phileas Fogg did in Jules Verne’s Around the World in Eighty Days. This novel follows the journey of the eccentric Englishman, Phileas Fogg, after he bet he could race around the world in eighty days. Accompanied by his faithful servant, Passepartout, and a scheming detective, Fix, he encountered many challenges he had to overcome in order to return in time to win the bet. In Around the World in Eighty Days, Jules Verne demonstrated how increased industrialization made a profound impact in travel, technology, and business. In addition, Verne shows how industrialization contributed to an increase of nationalism and European imperialism.
...ying in the United States. Through my interaction with them, I became aware of the modern and highly developed educational methods used in the U.S. schools, a critical part of medical education which we lack in Afghanistan. In addition, I discovered the importance of being exposed to a culture widely diverse and different from the one I am exposed to. I realized that if I apply for the Fulbright grant, I will be given a chance to represent my country and my people through our genuine culture not in the way that they are projected in the media.

The movie “The Hundred Foot Journey” is a great representation of different cultures interacting as well as the different food habits. The movie is based on an Indian family who moves to Italy and wants to open an Indian restaurant across street from a famous Italian restaurant in the small town. The Kadam family wants to bring the Indian cuisine to a new culture and share some of their values. They have trouble expanding their culinary delights to the public because Marquerite the sous-chef doesn’t want any competition. Throughout the movie, secrets on certain dishes are shared and tricks to improve the certain style of food is greatly appreciated by both restaurant chefs.
Therefore in order to compete in today’s global world which requires each country saw what was to become the most important thing, then 3 aspects of culture, tourism and hospitality of its people, can be important aspect to see or judge a country. Culture is first rate or first base a country containing historical values and norms can affect how people act to be friendly, as well as the diversity of cultures can create an interest then this can we make as the promotion so that it could be an event that could become a tourism attraction to defend a country capable of competing at that position and can be taken into account.

Italian food is the world’s most popular cuisine. It is an essential part of Italian life and very common to non-Italians. The most well-known Italian dishes today are pasta and pizza, but Italian cuisine varies greatly from one region to another. For instance, “the popular Italian-American dishes generally come from the southern region of Campania and the island of Sicily, just off the southern coast” (Traditional Italian). However, many years ago, Italy was made up of different nations, conquered by many, and it experienced vast influences from different countries. These impacts would shape the food of Italy and its’ culture.
There is nothing quite like traveling, going someplace new and finding out more about the world and yourself. Anyone can become a traveler it just takes a little bit of faith and courage. Traveling across the world or even across the country is a learning experience. When you are a traveler you see how people live and how different cultures work. It is the best educational experience you could give yourself. You see how the world works in a way no one can teach you. Seeing different cultures and people help build the person you want to be.
