I am writing on behalf of the hero Neville Longbottom to nominate him for the 2017 Nobel Morality Prize. I believe Mr. Longbottom should receive this award for his courageous acts portrayed in his last seven years of his schooling. Neville has wholeheartedly built his character showing traits of faith and bravery to help the great of good for his school, and the entire wizarding world, because of this, I feel confident that Neville is deserving of this fundamental award. Neville participated in several battles such as the the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, the Battle of the Department of Ministries and the Battle of Hogwarts. With each encounter with an opposing wizard that young Neville faced, it helped build Neville's ever growing talent and confidence in his magic. In Neville’s first year at Hogwarts, he stood up to his friends when they were to sneak out after lights out, although he may of been defeated, he still stood up for the good of the school and for the safety of his friends. “There are all kinds of courage, It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.” This quote from the legendary Albus Dumbledore reflects on one of Neville's several courageous acts, the most known, fighting at The Battle of Hogwarts. Leading up to the battle, after Harry left to search for horcruxes, Neville took over and colead Dumbledore's Army with Luna Lovegood and Ginny Weasley until after winter break . Ginny and luna didn't return to school for awhile after christmas break, so Neville single handedly lead the DA.
