I would like to become a neurologist. I would like this as a job because it seems pretty fun and it has a high average salary. Some thing that appeal to me is that i get to learn more about the brain. If i do research, i can find new things about the brain that no one has figured out yet. this can help more diseases be cured or be treated.
A neurologist treats disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Some of the daily duties of a neurologist are patient examining, Diagnostic testing, and treatment. I would have to take a patient and examine him/her, this is to see if they have a disease or a problem. The Diagnostic testing is scannings like a cat-scan. This is to see what the problem is. The treatment is when you decide what the patient needs, such as surgery or medicine. I would like the treatment the most of the job, because i would be able to help people and could save lives. The most challenging part of it would be the treatment and the diagnostic testing because i would have to decide what their problems is.

It would be an honor to get a job in a hospital studying the brain, and researching different brain diseases. I would love to come up with a new cure to a brain disease that would help millions all over. I would go to any hospital that needed a job in my study, just so I can help others. I have always been I would say obsessed with the brain. It is crazy to think that each part of the brain does a different function for the human body, and one hit or virus could affect all of that. But with my studies I hope to have a cure so that those that worry how they will pay the bills, if their loved ones are going to live another day will not have to worry anymore. Attending college will just be the first step to my goal. After my undergraduate schooling, I will apply for medical school in pursue to get my doctorate's degree. Continuing my education is the beginning of a journey of helping people all over the
... a patient down when they are scared. I know this career will not always be an easy one because you will come across some patients that can be combative, grumpy or scared and being able to learn how to communicate with them will make the process more smoothly. There will come a time when you come across a patient that will pull at your heart, as hard as it is I will have to keep my emotions in control but not so much so that I forget how to be gentle and caring with the patients because you may never know what their stories are.

My current career goal is to become either a dentist or an orthodontist. I would enjoy being either of these since they peak my interest. When I was younger, I looked forward to going to the dentist. I was astonished by the shiny instruments that they would stick in your mouth in order to make your teeth clean and healthy. I also might go to college to pursue a career in orthodontics. I would enjoy being an orthodontist due to the fact that I think braces, retainers, and such are neat. I would enjoy putting them on people and knowing how to do it.
