Claude Monet played an essential role in a development of Impressionism. He created many paintings by capturing powerful art from the world around him. He was born on November 14, 1840, in Paris, France. Later, his family moved to Le Havre, Normandy, France because of his father’s business. Claude Monet did drawings of the nature of Normandy and time spent along the beaches and noticing the nature. As a child, his father had always wanted him to go into the family grocery business, but he was interested in becoming an artist. He was known by people for his charcoal caricatures, this way he made money by selling them by the age of 15. Moreover, Claude went to take drawing lessons with a local artist, but his career in painting had not begun yet. He met artist Eugène Boudin, who became his teacher and taught him to use oil paints. Have you ever wanted to travel to Paris or New York? If so, Vegas has replicas of the Eifel Tower and the Statue of Liberty. Las Vegas also has two extremely popular exhibits. The first exhibit is about The Titanic. This exhibit features real life artifacts that were found underwater on the ship. It also has displays that made you feel as if you were truly on the ship. The displays are a replica of the grand staircase, the prominent deck, and the third and first class living quarters. The second exhibit is called Bodies. This exhibit features real life preserved human bodies. It shows the organs, the bones, and how they function. If you happen to be interested in the human body and everything in relation to it, I would consider checking out this

The artwork that I chose was in the European Art: 17th-18th c. section in the Norton Simon Museum. On the right side of the painting there was the portrait of Madame de Cromot de Fougy artwork by Antonie Vestier, in 1786. This artwork was larger than Alcibiades on His Knees Before His Mistress painting. The largest of these three artworks was the one on the left side, which was the Portrait of Alexis Piron by Louis Tocque, in c.1737. The color of the walls was just white so the paintings can stand out to the audience’s eyes. The lighting of the galleries is one of the most important aspects that make the museums professional and successful. The lighting of the Norton Simon Museum was adequate. There was bright enough for the viewers to observe the

I went to the Gorman Museum on Sunday to check out the artwork for this assignment. Initially, I was expecting like the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento with many mediums of artworks such as sculpture, oil paintings, water paintings, etc. When I got there, it was a small room. Perhaps, a bit spacious than a single car garage. There are handful of different artworks and there were a few that caught my attention.
The Natural History Museum is an extraordinary place to explore and learn. It’s fun and breathtaking! The museum served as an agricultural fairground from 1872 until 1910. The original structure of the building from the 1913 and today’s structure is a blend of many styles. Like a Spanish Renaissance ornamentation in the terracotta trim.
Las Vegas is a place to get away from all their problems only to get into more trouble a place world famous for gambling. Secondly for all the various exhibitions, and thirdly for famous artist performances. And then the sex. Prostitution is forbidden within city limits, but in the local phone book you will find about 100 pages solely for “private dancers”. A euphemism for female entertainment anyway you like it.
