I look up to many people from history and the people around me. The person I look up to the most is Neil Armstrong. He was calm in the face of danger. He loved his profession even before he got his pilot license. Also he always look for a way even if it was the last minute.
Neil Armstrong’s first space flight was on Gemini 8 with Dave Scott a fellow pilot. The object of the mission was to make a docking with an object orbiting the Earth. After a half hour they started to tumble through space. Armstrong undocked but they were still tumbling through space. He regained control but they were forced abort the mission. In all of this Neil Armstrong never panicked. In another instance he never panicked was on Apollo 11 the first man landing on the
Who was one of the most inspirational men of all time? Who was the first man to land on the moon? Who was the astronaut that will never be forgotten? That man’s name is Neil Armstrong.
Some famous and notable Eagle Scout are, Neil Armstrong, first man on the moon, General Ford the 38th president, and Mick Rowe from Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel. I personally look up to all three of them, but I specifically look up to Mike Rowe, because of his promotion to the working class. But you don’t have to be famous to be looked up to. Many other scouts looked up to me for advice when doing their projects. I am greatly honored by this.
“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind,” was stated by Neil Armstrong once a national goal was accomplished. Landing successfully on the moon was a major goal for astronauts of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin were honored to be the very first of mankind to step foot on the moon, and allowed America to set future goals for outer-space journeys. With the assigned Apollo mission, America was granted much needed hope. Astronauts of NASA in the Apollo Program accomplished John F. Kennedy’s goal of placing the first man on the moon safely for the United States.
Benjamin Franklin is someone that I look up to and his achievements are far greater than most. The first person that comes to mind when I think of a life given to the service of others is Benjamin Franklin because he pioneered the spirit of self-help in America, there was no-one who ever lived or is living on the face of this Earth who is more extraordinary and impacting than Benjamin Franklin, many people just see him as “the guy on the $100 bill” but what you will know is that he’s is truly the definition of success and by far the greatest man to ever live in colonial America.
Every person has a someone or something that they look up to and admire. In my case, I admire Donald Trump. Some people may disagree, Everyone gains haters when they stand up for something or against it, in which is why I look up to him most. Donald is a person well worth admiring, deserves great respect and attention, and last of all, someone like you and me could become a person like him with hard work and determination.
To infinity and beyond—or at least that is what Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear is notorious for saying. The key word “infinity” is a clue to the mystery that is ‘aliens.’ In a universe with infinite measurements and beings it should be considered ignorant to believe otherwise. However, everyone has the right to their own opinion, or so says the government as they continuously deny every alien allegation thrown their way. In the same way that the size of the universe is far wider than any human mind, the number of sightings and encounters has greatly surpassed the level of falsehood. Humans, no matter some of their girth, simply do not take up enough space in this infinite universe to be the only beings inhabiting it.
I think that President Theodore Roosevelt and preservationist John Muir had a nice trip here are some parts of the story "March 1903, help appeared. Muir received a letter from President Roosevelt himself, proposing a camping trip in Yosemite and asking Muir to be his guide. "I do not want anyone with me but you," Roosevelt wrote.
One of the many reasons I look up to my brother is because he has never given up even when things get tough, he has always tried to find a solution to everything. My brother has worked hard in everything, specially in school. He has always been a great role model to me. He tries to help me in any way he can and motivates me to work hard in school to accomplish my goals.
“I knew that even if I were second or third rate, it was astronomy that mattered.” This quote is from Edwin Hubble, the man who discovered the cosmos. Hubble was a young ambitious yet presumptuous scientist who changed mankind’s perception of the universe forever.
My role model that I look up to and admire is Kanye West. He is a hip-hop artist whose works are timeless. Some of his songs were made in the early 2000s and don’t sound old decades later when a lot of new trends and cultures developed from the early 2000s to now. What I admire about him is that he is confident about himself and the things he does. I always wanted to be confident like him about myself.
There are people who look up to someone for what they accomplished or attempted to accomplish in life. Everyone has to know of a person who they admire for their dedication to something. An inspiring person is someone who does something that a person likes to know they did and would like to know more about that one person. They would want to follow their similar steps to achieve some of their own goals. My inspiration is Martin Luther King that accomplished to do a lot of his community. He was a person that spent his years fighting for equal rights of his people. He had an ability to speak up for what right and did not give up easily. No one else had so much voice like King to convince a number of people to march alongside him even though they were at risk for getting seriously injured (Wilmonth p.336.).Although most readers of law had argued that it is unfair for discrimination to continue and there should be something done about it, examination shows that Martin Luther King Jr. uses his eloquent words and his power of persuasion to prove to people no longer have to deal with the injustice in this environment. Martin Luther King Jr. is a result of the combination of bravery, motivator, and selflessness.
When one thinks of heroes, names such as Ghandi, Martin Luther King, and Mother Theresa often come to mind. These people had done a lot of favors, courage, helps, and more of things for the people who needed them. They have change the world. But, heroes can be in anyway, even in each of individuals in the world. I have the persons who I think is the best hero in my mind. They are my parents.
Every piece of me has seemed to come from an inspirational woman who has somehow graced my life. Whether for a second or for a decade, they have made imprints on my soul. To limit myself to describe the one person who has given me the most inspiration would be virtually unfeasible. I am a collage of influence and choice made by those with whom I have interacted.
One leader that I admire is my mother. She has taught me to do everything to the best of my ability, work hard, and be resilient. When my parents were in the process of getting a divorce, my mom went through many difficult times. Nevertheless, she always stayed strong and did a terrific job of taking care of my little brother and I. When I was eleven years old, my mom introduced me to cycling. Since then she has completed three century rides which are one-hundred mile bike rides. After she finished her first century ride, I was amazed at the amount of adversity she went through. She had been chased by three dogs, gone through twenty mile per hour winds, and still managed to complete an unimaginable feat. She inspired me to complete the Tour De Gruene, a sixty-five mile bike ride in the hill country. When I was fifty feet away from the finish line, I had a moment to think that this wouldn’t be possible without my mother. She is the perfect example of a leader who brings people up and always stays positive.
My grandfather was my role model because he would always help others. He was a doctor, and he would treat patients, even if they could not pay him. It did not matter to him. All that mattered was that he was able to help someone.
