Many children play with toy guns in United States. When I was a kid toy guns were not aloud in our household. I believe parents should not allow their children to play with fake guns. Toy guns can increase aggressive behaviors, they change children's personalities, and kids will see guns as a cool object to have. To begin, allowing kids to play with toy guns raises aggressive behaviors. These aggressive behaviors may follow the individual's personality throughout life. As such, leads to difficulty in relationships and career paths. These negative effects appear to have a direct influence on children's aggressive behaviors. Parents need to teach the children how to play with toy guns in a correct manner. The children that pretend to kill someone
increases their aggression and leads to violence. Furthermore, children playing with toy guns can’t distinguish between real or fake guns, leading to a child's fatality. Also, nearly all toy guns changes a child's personality. Kids playing with fake guns feel powerful and heroic. It also makes a group of boys feel dominant. Kids will have the urge to shoot a real gun from playing with toy guns Any type of toy gun played with increases a child's risk to hurt others. Guns are dangerous to any child's life. Toy guns have the ability to maneuver any decision any child will have. Consequently, fake guns can be seen as a cool object to have. Emergency rooms saw 20,000 injuries in 2010. More than 25 percent were from children ages 8 to 14. Paintball and toy guns both send the wrong message to children. Playing with a toy gun could have painful or even deadly consequences. There have been several incidents that involved tween and teens being shot by a police officer who thought they were holding real guns. Many people might argue by saying that toy guns have the opposite effect, but in reality it might not have that effect. That is how these incidents happen, every child is different. Therefore, I feel guardians should not allow their children to play with toy guns. Instead have your child play a board game. These games help your child with eye-hand coordination and teach important social skills. Another way, go on a bike ride. Enjoy the outdoors, family biking improves exercise, allows your children to discover new things, and it allows bonding time with everyone.

But when you do will you know how to handle the situation? Guns can be deadly when abused and used incorrectly. There is a way to reduce the unnecessary deaths. There have been several incidents where a child in the household has mistaken a gun for a toy and have mortally wounded himself and others with it. There have also been occasions where careless gun owners have left their guns loaded and have accidentally shot someone. Studies have shown that four people die each day due to accidental gun fire. Anti-gun users have pointed out that states that have relaxed their gun laws have had an increases in homicides. Also just because its anyone’s right to own a gun does not mean that they went through any sort of training to be able to use that gun. Most anti-gun users argue that most of these people who buy guns need to be properly trained before they can operate a gun, in order to prevent innocent and unnecessary harm or

With lack of supervision, children experiment with these dangerous weapons, and may even take them out of their homes. Another contributing factor to violent acts among children is the role of the media and the way that television and movies portray violence. Every where you turn on television and in movies, you see someone killing someone or someone getting killed. Kids see the brutal ways, or the quick and smart schemes of combat tactics. They falsely believe that these types of behaviors are acceptable, because the next week they are back on the show demonstrating another episode of violent acts, with no consequences.
The first thing that parents should be worried about would be the exposure of guns that their children have. Several families have guns at home because they feel they are secure having them for protection. People buy guns because they believe that where they live,
Since violent video games, like Mortal Kombat, were created, adolescents who play these games become more aggressive than before. To me, playing violent video games is unsafe for these people since they have the negative influence on these people. I believe that researching on that topic would help us get the sense of what problems to avoid. I wish to know what are the possible effects of violent video games on adolescents’ aggression. The independent variable is violent video games, and the dependent variable is adolescents’ aggression. My hypothesis is that adolescents who play violent video games become very aggressive than those who don’t. For this essay, I would like to present the findings from each article that will answer the topic I selected.
It is my belief that aggressive behavior in children is linked to the media, but also to the behavior portrayed by the people around them. Many studies have been targeted toward the link between aggression and viewing violence in the media. One well-known study was conducted by Albert Bandura and is known as the Bobo doll experiment. Research has shown that a child will mimic the actions of others if the actions are reinforced. “Albert Bandura argued that aggression in children is influenced by the reinforcement of family members, the media, and the environment” (Bandura, 1976).

The question is, “Do violent video games influence children to act aggressively?” and “Can repetitive killing train a person to be violent himself?” Although the violence in these video games is fictional, research has proven the violence to lead to more aggressive behavior in children. Violent acts depicted in these games allow young children to believe that killing and fighting is acceptable and fun.
Gun safety is very important in the matters of teaching people that firearms are not a toy. One should always treat the gun like it is loaded. These are signs that people are much too immature and should not be handling a firearm.
