There were ninety one signatures declaring good opinions of Rebecca, Elizabeth Proctor, and Martha Corey. However, Parris still claims Proctor is trying to overthrow the church even though he has a bunch of people from town signing that the people arrested are good people. The witch trials led to excessive amount of trials, while other issues in the town were completely avoided. Abigail's fascination to be with John Proctor led to appalling accusations.
