Secondly, in this case a social change is when GI Jane left her traditions, beliefs, norms and values to come to the Navy SEAL CRT program. Socialization is the act of adapting behavior to the norms of a culture or society. For example, GI Jane had to ate a lit bit of food. Also, she had to write at night a lot of sentences to stay in the program. Next, Jane had to accept the bad treats of her classmates and commandant (mens). Last, she had to accustom herself to work in team. This process of socialization is beneficial to the Navi SEAL CRT program because when the soldiers adapt themselves to a new norm is going to be easier to them to fit in.
