National Parks Should Be Preserved The national parks in the United States have provided recreation for millions of people for many years. They have some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Can you imagine anyone wanting to destroy them? There are many threats to these parks. People want to destroy them to supply resources to cities or even build cities there. People also want to utilize the land for farming and cattle ranching. Destroying our national parks through use of its resources and land would rob future generations from the peace and enjoyment of these preserved areas.
