"Eighth Grade ...Finally!" I got in to Nature Coast Technical High School where my cluster is Technology support services. While doing this curriculum I will be able to get four certifications. Middle school was fun it taught me a lot not only just education but some life skills, for example just smile and nod, keep your thoughts to yourself, pause means pause. I was able to make friends and have a few more years of being immature. High School is when everyone starts to grow up and I know that sounds pretty but I am pretty excited. There will be not as strong of a dress code and I won't be stuck with the same class for the next three years. My favorite memories from middle school were one where David had to write an entire essay one what …show more content…
This memory taught me a lesson don't know if it worked but, that I should think about what I am going to say. Lots of people make mistakes; my mom says they are there to teach you a lesson. Again I am pretty excited to go to high school but there are things I am really nervous about for high school like seeing all old friends and having to grow up soon. I haven’t talked to the people from elementary school at all and having to see them again seems scary to me. It is also nerve racking to go to a completely new school and have to find your way around with so little information. My plans beyond high school are to either to move to Orlando or Chicago and become a cosmetologist or an Informational Technician. These careers are two completely different things but they are the things I like so I do not really know. I still have a lot of time to think about it but I want to stay near my family for most of the time until I am ready. Currently while writing this I found out my mom has gallstones and has to get her gallbladder removed and I don’t know how bad that is but I am still pretty scared. My dad also has arthritis and I want to stay near them to help take care of
During 8th grade, I got called out to the counselor’s office. Entering the counselor’s office, the counselor told me that I was in the honors class. The day I graduated Junior High with honors changed the next 4 years in High school. I promised myself and my mom that I would be graduating High school with honors. For the past 4 years, I have worked so hard to be in the honors program, again. I started to take advanced classes and then I started to take dual credit classes my junior year. If it wasn’t for being in the honors program my 8th grade year, I don’t think I would be as worried about my grades as I am now.
As we begin to grow up and come to the end of our high school career we must start to begin to start thinking about what type of career we want to be in. It is very important that a person picks the right type of career for them. Otherwise you will be unhappy with what you are doing and will not enjoy it at all. I am not entirely sure what I want my career to be but I have a pretty good idea as to what type of job it will be. I would like to go into the field of a physical therapist and sports medicine, I fell I will enjoy this more than any other type of career just because I already have a lot of interest in it.
Ask yourself, how was your 8th grade year… Was it good, bad, fun, or stressful? Well most of my 8th grade year was bad but the ending actually turned out good. The start of my year was exciting, but that was just the beginning. As time went on and the work started to come in, that's when things turned south for me. I started stressing about everything I had to do, I was getting to overwhelmed. I would catch myself slipping constantly and it was worrying me because I didn't want to get held back a year. I slowly started to lose all interest in all of my work.
I know longer had to give advice to people about relationships, I was able to apply to all of the colleges I wanted to, I improved my grade point average, and I was able to grow more as a person. My life changed in so many different ways but I felt like it changed for the best. I was able to make new friends that were trying to accomplish some of the same goals as me and I know longer had to deal with unnecessary drama.
Middle school was a amazing experience, for me anyway. I, myself have changed tremendously from the beginning of 6th grade to the end of 8th grade. Not just in appearance either, on the inside as well.
6th grade, and I was saying hello, and now 8th grade has come and it’s gone from introductions to goodbyes as my last days as a middle school student wind down. 8th grade, 8th grade from the opening day to the signing of the yearbooks. This is the year of memories, goodbyes, and regrets. 8th grade and I’m still realizing that there are people in the world that would die to go to a school like this.
Oh seventh grade, what a year to remember. That was actually my favorite year of middle school. At home during this time was a mess and my grades also plummeted but I think going to school took some stress off because I was taking some time to "myself" and forgetting for a while about my home situation. Seventh grade, I would say was a year of friends for me. I had and still to this day have a friend from kindergarten that I considered a best friend. Until a new girl came along, lets call her Patricia. Patricia basically took "my spot" I guess in fifth grade while I was off at my new school for the year. Anyway speeding forward to seventh grade I noticed my best friend, lets call her Amanda, not really talking to me anymore and or passing by
Some may ask why is life hard. Life is an amazing thing and we shouldn’t take the greatness of it for granted. Today you are going to hear a story about a young teenagers life that has been hiding stuff for his family. This young boy in the story makes it through the struggle he is going through. This is something we all have to do keep our head up and keep going no matter what.
When I was in middle school I thought life was just full of joy and I really did not have
I consider myself to be a hard worker when I study and work, who honestly loves school. My favorite classes of 8th grade are honors geometry AB, Investigation and Science & IED. I love these classes because when I solve problems experiment it feels like it's a big puzzle that is in need to be put together and I'm a person who likes to figure things out. I believe that my interactions in these classes are to be a cooperative learner and I participate in the class or group discussions. A description of myself when I work is that I am a very fast learner, so when it comes to doing independent project or tests, I finish very fast so I have a really large amount of time to check over and fix simple mistakes. Although, when I am working with my peer
Graduating high school was really exciting for me, but at the same time I was apprehensive because I knew it was a significant milestone in my life and I didn't know what to expect with college. However, the freedoms provided by college ending up being wonderful. I love being able to completely manage my time on my own and make my own decisions. I graduate college next May. If I were not going to grad school I would probably be dreading it because I don't think I'm ready for the "real world" and having a 9-5 job yet. So, since I am continuing my education it's going to be exciting since I will be moving to a new state and meeting new people.
Growing is always hard. Things become more challenging and you are left with a bundle of responsibilities. High school made me change to be ready for encounters with other people and for when I go to college in the future.
In eighth grade, the amazing experiences are far more numerous than the regretful moments. First in eighth grade I believe the best part was the teachers. They have all taught me so much, and I will certainly use what they have equipped me with in high school. They all deserve so much for teaching the "future of the world." I am sur...
My high school experience has been a very challenging and exciting 4 years. I have learned many things that will help me in life and I feel confident that I am ready for whatever obstacle I may face. High school has defined, shaped my character, and helped me to mature into the young woman that I am
They gave me that sense of peace and that belonging feeling that everyone needs. Keep your friends close and your family closer. High schools are full of controversy and discrimination, which leads
