Beyoncé Knowles once said, “It felt so good to find true love.” True love is something I can only aspire to acquire one day. This is something that is so difficult to find, only a few people have had encounters and have had long relationship with this mythological part of life. A lot of people do not understand what love is, nor how to identify this from different degrees of love, such as my love for coffee to my love of my parents. This term is used so loosely especially now-a-days, that most people just settle for something that is not true because it is meant to believe that true love can only be acquired in fairy tales and myths. Personally, I have had too many encounters with the complete opposite of this; however, I still believe that …show more content…
Mostly today, people are just settling for whatever comes his or her way because he or she just believes that true love does not exist or just tired of trying to find it. I have had my fair trade of this fake love settling, and honestly it has been some of my worst love experiences that has left me feeling with what love is not. Love is not something that makes you feel worthless or replaceable. It is not something that will cause the other person to cheat on the other individual. This is not something that you should dread or hate. It is not something that will make you sad or down. Stress should not be piling up at every turn one goes to. This should not make life more confusing or make you question if the other does care about you or not. The only tears that should run down one 's eyes are tears of joy, not sadness or despair. It will not make you hate life and force you to see the bad instead of the good. It will not bring doubt or false accusation to one 's self. Hatred to one 's self and the other partner should never occur. Love is not a horrendous monster that brings fear, hatred, self-doubt, and other negative feelings or
In Laura Kipnis Against Love, what I believe love to be is uniquely questioned and probed in every manner. Kipnis yanks at every part of a relationship that is, according to her, inevitably bound to fail. Unfortunately I believe she mostly writes about the negatives of marriage and infidelity rather than love. It is troubling to agree with her uncomfortable views on marriage and coupledom becoming a sort of renunciation of personal desires, but I think Kipnis is brave in creating this polemic suggesting the way love has been programmed into us by modern society, as an all encompassing, fantasy type of love, all about one person forever. Humans have been wired in a way to look for a meaningful view of life through love, which can
William Howard Russell once said, "Little did I conceive of the greatness of the defeat, the magnitude of the disaster which it had entailed upon the United States. So short-lived has been the American Union, that men who saw it rise may live to see it fall.” At one point in History, the United States was not one nation. The Civil War had created many issues for the United States and the country was desperate for a solution. This solution was thought to be reconstruction. Reconstruction was the attempt from the early 60's until the late 70's to resolve the issues of the war after slavery was dismissed and the Confederacy was defeated. Reconstruction also attempted to address how states would again become part of the Union, the status of Confederate leaders, and the status of African Americans across the United States.
Love is said to be one of the most desired things in life. People long for it, search for it, and crave it. It can come in the form of partners, friends, or just simply family. To some, love is something of a necessity in life, where some would rather turn a cold shoulder to it. Love can be the mixture of passion, need, lust, loyalty, and blood. Love can be extraordinary and breathtaking. Love being held so high can also be dangerous. Love can drive people to numerous mad things with it dangerously so full of craze and passion.
...r love. When you love you are your most vulnerable to hurt. Sharing your love is the most risky thing you will ever do. It can either be the most rewarding effort or it can be the most devastating effort. If you invest yourself in someone, and give them your very best, and they respond positively to your love, you will experience great satisfaction. If, however, you invest in someone, and give them your very best, and they do not respond positively, or they do not respond at all, or they respond negatively, it is likely to be one of the most painful experiences of your life. People who have failed at love often vow to never loving again. To the person who has been hurt, love is perceived as the source of their great pain. Rejection is one aspect that nobody wants to live with.
“I love you.” These three little words might possibly be the most powerful statement one can make to another person. In life, most yearn for the intimate affection that a certain someone can provide them. Women dream of their Prince Charming to come and sweep them off their feet, while men search for the love of their life that sets their heart on fire. But what happens when love is thrown around without a second thought? Has this four letter word become an overused cliché? Has love been replaced with lust? Is there such a thing as true love? This last question has been asked throughout history, while many have argued and debated over the final answer. We, as a society, have become a loveless, sex crazed group of people with no concern for any emotion or attachment in our lives. So does this mean that true love does not exist? No. This only shows that achieving the deepest of feelings takes work that our fast-food eating, TV watching generation is not prepared to handle. I believe that true love does exist, but has merely been pushed aside by convenience, superficiality, and apathy.
Love, that single feeling which generates the funny sensations in people's stomach, giving them the warm pleasures in their body, causing them to feel joy, and to believe every aspect in their life is right. It causes them to receive an exhilarating, appealing feeling that makes them want to rejoice. Love can be a speeding of their heart, but it can also be nerve-racking. It makes their hearts begin to rapidly pump, making a rapid beat— “ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom”. Attempting to describe love is a rigorous task, but it is possible. However, the easiest detail to describe and understand about love is not so much the feeling of it, but the concept of what it is about. Many people may obtain different views and definitions regarding love, but
“Love is universally accepted by many people and the concept of love within the English language refers to a variety of different approaches, states and attitudes, ranging from pleasure to interpersonal attraction.” (Kendrick 123) My characterization of love encourages the intimate emotion I partake for my family. The distinct connection that we fashioned and the invaluable moments that we consolidated. In the perceptive of a mother, my children are my supremacy and the greatest blessing of my lifecycle. They’re my inspiration and motivation to continue progressing and becoming the best at what I do. With that in mind, Love relics your outlooks and approaches the linkage they become associated with. Consequently, this condition can fluctuate over a period of a specific time. Additionally, depending on your situation, your perspective on love can be an altering affect, creating a stable or inconsistent assessment. Furthermore, causing your love to intensify, decline, or even cease. Love in its essence, stands justly powerful and the beauty of it advances,
Love is a weird feeling. It’s been said that love has nothing to do with your heart, it 's all chemical reactions inside of your brain. Infatuation, attraction, crush is such powerful feelings that people do think that they are in love. Also, it is blind to the other person’s weaknesses and exaggerates his or her strengths. Similarly, infatuation often fades within a short time. However, true love is so real and so strong, strong enough that if it came down to it you would even die for your partner. Love as much more than a feeling. It is based on a well-rounded knowledge of a person’s strengths and weaknesses. Not so in the case of China and Jeremy, in T. Coraghessan Boyle “The Love of my Life.” Before we talk about them
Over time the definition of love and what it is has been debated and argued over, but in most cases the answer is very similar. "True love is like two rivers that meet and merge, intertwining completely into one, then flowing on together. True love cannot be buried; but once unselfishly rooted it will grow forever." Quote on quote true love does exist but unfortunately is not found by all.
Teens deal with conflict on a day-to-day basis. This holds true especially for Jared. You could say Jared was your average everyday teenager. He plays the guitar in his free time and has a great number of friends. But as for girlfriends, that’s a different story.
I left work today realizing just how fortunate I am to be on the track towards a successful career. And on top of that, the fact that I actually enjoy my job makes it even better! It's definitely been a long road.
We all fall in love at some point in our lives whether it be a passion, faith, or another person. Falling in love is a natural human behavior. It ensures the continuance of the human race through reproduction. Love is often considered a mystery because of its unexplainable feelings. It is the personal and affectionate relationship between two people. Researchers have discovered the biological reasons behind falling in love. The brain controls the signals that release chemicals and hormones in your body to give that rush that love brings.
Love happens when you least expect it. It can happen on the street corner, at the bar, at the grocery store, the park. That’s one of the greatest things about love. As for me I found love in the pouring down rain in the middle of the street. I fell in love with a man who I never thought in a million years I’d fall for. A man who is loving, caring and respectful. The night I laid my eyes on him I knew he was it. He came into my life at a point when I was unraveling and losing control. I was lost for two years after my high school sweetheart and I broke up, I thought I was never going to find real love, but I did. He saved me and I remember every minute from that night.
There are many positive things and negative things about the movie and the story. In the movie
What is love? Love is a very special and meaningful word to each human being. Each human being has his/her own thoughts about love to guide himself/herself to land safely and smoothly into the kingdom of Love. Without this preconceived idea of love, people would be acting like a blind person searching for the light with thousand of obstacles in front of him.
