This pigment stained lips so there was no need to worry about the product fading away and coming off (Edmonds). The negative about this lipstick is that it dries out lips (Edmonds). Companies of lipstick brands went through many different ingredients and series of tests to find the perfect lipstick (Edmonds). Most tests were used to imitate daily life. Some examples included eating, drinking, kissing, and even playing sports (Edmonds). Playing sports increases sweat around the face including near the upper lip.
