In the introduction, the author has done a good job engaging the audience with emotions, and painting a vivid scene of the seals being slaughtered. This essay does a good job of acknowledging the other point of views. This essay also has a good, clear sense of structure. This new approach stimulated new research on the brain, and the effects of exercise on the well being of our body and minds. After the introduction of the new fitness programs, the school’s students showed drastic increases in standardized tests, and on normal tests as well.
Many students who are enrolled in FFA are already heading in the right direction to a bright future. FFA has many career benefits within the program. Any of the career development events (CDE’s) have something that will tie to a career in agriculture or to a career of other sorts. According to the National FFA Organization, “FFA members embrace concepts taught in agricultural science classrooms nationwide, build valuable skills through hands-on experiential learning and each year demonstrate their proficiency in competitions based on real-world agricultural skills”(“Statistics”). There are so many careers that tie into FFA, and many of them have to do with agriculture. Not every career that has to do with agriculture is about farming. There are so many different aspects of the agriculture industry that many people never think twice about. Most people are not interested in agriculture because they think it is just about farming or

I grew up living on the coast of the Pacific Ocean between San Francisco and Half Moon Bay. I was walking distance to Lindamar Beach and a Bart train ride to Union Square in San Francisco. Every weekend, my extended family and I would go to Chinatown. This was one of my favorite activities growing up. Running down the street, looking for Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory, then later getting a bunch of Fun Snaps, miniature novelty fireworks that make a loud noise when thrown on the pavement. A few years later, my family and I relocated to the East Bay, specifically Antioch. With my Grandma, Aunt, and cousins still close by, we would constantly plan family trips to explore. For example, my family would go hiking at Muir Beach or camping at Lake
War World I took place during 1914 to 1918. After coming out of the war, the U.S. worried about the influences of German individuals to the American people (O’Malley, n.d.). To Americanize the Germans, Nebraska passed the Siman Act in 1919. The Siman Act prohibited private and public educators from K-8 to teach their content in a foreign language. Robert T. What would you do if one of your fellow employees was found dead, and suspected to have been murdered; only an hour or so after you had just seen him? What would be going through your mind when the police show up at your door asking you to come down to the station for questioning? Well this was the current predicament of Andrea Saunters, as she sat alone in the interrogation room of the Santa Barbara police station, left to reflect upon the events of the day, feeling the pain of the loss of a friend and co-worker as well as the fear from being a suspect in the case. *Flashback, the day earlier; POV of Narrator* It was Friday the 24th of April, 2015, and the day started as any other from Andrea Saunters.
Michael Troquier’s prezi resume is a really unique idea, but the resume seemed too long. Micheal tried to make the resume fun and entertaining, but it was too long and time consuming. Adding a comic was a cool way to discuss the project, and helped better understand the project. The comic was very informative and helped draw the viewer's attention, but it did not see too professional. Overall, the resume was really informative and easy to read.
