A myth is a narrative about sacred reality and its relationship to humanity. This is usually paired with a message that conveys a meaning or purpose of human life. A myths function is to disclose a perceived truth about basic elements of the human condition. It can cover our meaning and purpose on earth as humans and also bring forth a problem/solution dynamic that aims to teach us what is good and what is evil. We are given two very different scenarios that try to explain how our world was brought into existence and myth plays a very big part in one but not so much the other.
