Mystery Boy Monologue

This year there was this boy that I thought might like me I didn't know for sure but then while I was in the lunch line this boy asked me if he could get my food for me of course I said yes to that. When I left the line I went to my table and told my friends what the boy had done for me. Trinity one of my best friends told me that in social studies he was writing a note to me that's when I knew he liked me. It was monday the day of the dance and of course I was super excited about going to the dance. Initially I wasn't planning on bringing a boy to the dance. I didn't like this boy but somehow my thoughts changed about him I thought I might as well give it a chance. So while in social studies ashley was talking to me about the whole thing

Jennefer was wondering about him and what was going on so, I told her what I had done that day. When we got into the dance then my friends pressured me to go talk to the mystery boy so I did at first it was pretty awkward but it started to get better after that. The entire time I was talking to him my friends were cheering us on. Then a song I knew the dance to cam on I told him that he could come with me if he wanted to but he didn't have to. He didn't dance so I danced alone, but soon I went over to my friends and talked to them for a while. While we were talking he came over and was talking to me for a while and he gave me his number and told me he did want to be my boyfriend. Right after he left I went to go tell my friends. After a while mystery boy came over to me and was talking to me for the rest of the dance. My lesson is that you should always get to know someone better before you assume that you won't like him because at first I thought that I wouldn't like him but then I gave him a chance and everything is going well so far so you have to give people a chance before you say that they aren't good for you.So I think that I made a good decision because I ended up having a great time.
