My explanation of life goals are about high school goals, college goals, career goals, and personal goals. I’m going to explain about what I want to do and achieve in high school, and college. Then I will tell u about what type of career I want when I grow up and my personal life. For starters I would like to graduate from high school and from college. Then I want to grow up and get a career is something that I really like. Then my personal life I think I would like to have kids someday. First I’m going to talk about my high school goals; yes I would like to graduate from high school. Some of the things I am looking to do while in high school are to take as many health science classes as I can. The grade point average I want by the time I leave high school is a 5.0 or higher. To get a grade point average this high I would have to take honors or advanced classes. This year I did not take honors or advanced classes because I didn’t really know you could sign up for them and it wasn’t a big deal to me at the time. Next year I definitely want to take honors classes and maybe by the time I’m in eleventh grade advanced classes. Another thing I am looking to do during high school is get involved. I want to get into clubs and activities with the school. Colleges look at not just your grade point average but also if you were active while in school. Now this doesn’t mean you have to be an athlete you can get involved by joining some clubs and activities during school. A main goal for me is to make new friends while in high school and all the way through my life. There are many colleges in the world and you can go to any of them if you push yourself and work hard. East Carolina and Chapel Hill are a few colleges that stand out to me. This... ... middle of paper ... ...ore different cultures. I want to party and be a young adult and have some fun before I have a career and a family. Some of my friends said that after high school they are going to take a break from school. I would love to do that but if I did I know I would not want to go back to school ever. So after high school I want to go straight into college and then when I graduate from college and have finish school completely then I want to have fun and do different things and experience places. Then when I’m all done with that I want to settle down get a career and start thinking about a family. For my family I want them to see how good I have turned out. I want them to see that when I put my mind to something I can and will achieve it. For my lifestyle I don’t have to be rich but I want enough money to pay all the bills and have money to go shopping every now and them.
Life goals are something everyone wants to accomplish, but how will they do it? Well, I have a few life goals and a plan to make it happen. My life goals are so important to me I have already started to accomplish them. These goals will take time to accomplish, but I’m on the right track.
My ambitions in life include going to college to earn a bachelor's degree in physics and then going on to medical school to earn a degree in neurology. I will then be able to complete a residency in an effort to become a neurosurgeon. As for my life purpose I believe that it is to help people as much as I am able so that they are able
My long-term goal is to be a professional skateboarder and make a living off of it . I honestly do see myself as a professional skateboarder because I do work so hard and also because i’m a very motivated person. The kind of work that I would be doing is showing up to lots of contest, demo's so that kids can experience or view what professional skateboarders
College is the main goal of my life. It is a life dream to go to college to get a degree and get a successful job. Everything that I have done until this point is to get to college. During my senior year I plan to apply to many colleges and to take the SAT's to get into college. My GPA and SAT scores will be crucial for me to get into college. With college I will further my business career, making more successful in the field I enjoy doing.
High school, for me, was a time where I began to discover who I am. I became more invested in my studies and started to realize my interests. As a result, I began to contemplate possible careers. Biology was a subject that I enjoyed immensely in high school, therefore I decided to major in Cellular Biology. I also have a passion to help people, and I would love to become a doctor one day. The plan seemed simple enough, however, when the time came to transition to a college student, I
My name is Alexis Carr, and I am a second-year TAMHSC Medical Sciences Ph.D. student pursuing the Clinical and Translational Sciences track. My ultimate career goal is to use data science and biomedical informatics skills in a clinical setting. I can see myself using machine learning, software engineering, and data visualization to empower clinical decision support. In Dr. Duane Steward’s lab, we mined data from electronic medical records to capture patient- reported outcomes which would eventually inform an intelligent agent that would effectively close the communication breakdown between patient and physician in hopes of ultimately improving both patient follow-up and care plan compliance.
As the most of my peers, I have been asking myself a question, what is it really I want out of my life? This question has been bothering many people, and not only the college students who are trying to figure out the path which will lead them to the comfortable life. One might ask, what is that comfort that we all are striving for? Is it a state of mind or is it some unknown world that we are so eager to enter? Well, it varies from person to person, it depends on the life that the person has left behind when the decision to go to college was made. There are several aspects of our lives that could influence us and the future decisions that we'll make. The biggest part of our decision making is the way we were raised and the culture we have got used to. Many Americans believe that the success depends on the family background that you have. There are those who say that if the person was raised in a rich family, all opportunities are available to them and there is a high! chance that the person will live a comfortable life. The same people are saying that if the person was raised in a poor family there are too many obstacles to overcome and most of the time these barriers on the way are too hard to cross. On the other hand, there are those people who say that the America is the land of opportunities and any person could achieve his/her goals if they set their mind to it.
Throughout the past years, I have been struggling with what I want to do with my life. I’ve decided on several different career paths many times, but I finally found one that I am planning on studying. After I graduate, I wish to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I can study biology and psychology. After college, I would like to apply to University of Nebraska Medical Center where I can study neurology. As soon as my education is completed, I wish to apply for a job at a medical center where I can do what I want for a living - help people. Along the way, I want to start a family and live debt-free in a larger city, a life my parents weren’t offered. These ambitions that I possess today wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for my past. It has been a challenge getting to who I am today, and it will be a challenge to get where I want to be in the future.
I am a teacher in the Detroit Public School system. Being a teacher did not start out being the profession of choice. However, I do enjoy teaching. Pedagogy is in fact an art and a science. Being a pedagogue is most rewarding. Thus, pedagogy has its own unique complications. Technology has revolutionized the art of teaching. This revolution has presented a strange dichotomy in the field of education. Whatever teaching may have evolved into; it is and will remain a dichotomous field.
All your life growing up, you don 't have to make any big decisions. This all changes senior year when you have to make a decision about what you are going to do with your life after high school. What you choose to do can dictate how you spend your time and money. If you do not make a choice you will not be able to move on towards being a self supporting adult. Decisions are hard to make but essential to keep moving forward.
Going through life everyone needs a goal, otherwise what is the point of life. A goal is most times someone’s ambition or desire. There effort and desire is aiming to reach that goal. The goal is going to want them to wake up in the morning and excel to reach the goal. To obtain their benchmarks and working their way to reach their goal. My goal is to attend Peru State College, graduate and play football. I plan to major in Pre-Physical Therapy or Athletic Training.
When I was a high school student, I wanted nothing more than to put my schooling experience behind me. The day that I graduated, I thought to myself, “finally! I am done!” After everything settled down after graduation, I got a job as a shift supervisor at a Boston Market in Littleton, Colorado. After about a year of working there, I realized that I wanted a better life for myself. So what does one do when they want a better life and their parents can’t talk them into going to college? They join the Military. So, in August of 2006, that is exactly what I did. Just about four years later, I finally realized that to get anywhere in this world now a days, you need to have some form of a college education.
Although I have many goals in life, two stick out to me the most. They stick out in every decision I make and they help me form good decisions. What I want most importantly in life is to become a pharmacist and to create a family with someone I love. I want the family most importantly because I was raised in a very tight Greek family. I want to raise my kids in that tight Greek family as well. Becoming a pharmacist is also a very important goal because I want stability in my job so that I can raise my family without major money issues. I also think it is very important for people to be healthy so that job would allow me to provide health care.
What are some of the goals I want to achieve in my life? This is definitely the biggest and scariest question I’ve had to ask myself lately. I just entered my senior year of high school, and if I had a dollar for every person who asked me what college I want to go to once I graduate, or what I want to do for the rest of my life I’d probably have like 50 bucks in my pocket. Now if I had a dollar for every time my answer to those questions was “I don’t really know yet”, I’d be 50 dollars even richer. I guess what I’m trying to say is I haven’t really planned that far into the future, even though I know it 's a very critical thing to do. Things change so fast. I mean of course I want to go to a college as far away from home as possible, and of
Growing up, goals change dramatically. A five-year olds goal is to get the coloring page done. As people go through school, goals obviously change. A freshman’s goal may be to learn the school so he or she doesn’t get lost. Senior’s goals grow to finding where they will spend the next four years or what kind of career they will grow upon. Then, of course goals continue to change as people get older and enter into different stages of life. In this essay, I am going to talk about how my goals in different aspects of my life and how they have transformed, what they are currently, and what they may turn into in the future.
