My hero is Jose Mourinho. Jose Mourinho is a professional football manager with worldwide recognition over the world. Many people refer Jose Mourinho as one of the most successful manager in the modern era. He is respected by other managers and rivals. Pep Guardiola, another great manager and Jose’s rival when he coached Real Madrid once told media that Jose Mourinho do not even have to win the game to become the greatest manager (ESPNsoccernet staff, 2011). Mourinho notably known as manager who achieves numerous titles and champions in every club he led. He is also famous for his self-proclaimed as “The Special One”. During one interview, he said, “Please don't call me arrogant, but I'm European champion and I think I'm a special one” (BBC, 2004).
The reason I choose him as my hero is because of his passion with his profession and career. His first career is a translator in Barcelona and work with Sir Bobby Robson. What I like from Mourinho is how he learnt from his senior. Bobby Robson was a great manager at that time. However, Mourinho never stops to learn something new. He learnt from the person he worked for. I also admire him because of his high confidence and strong personality. He has a strong personality that makes many people including rivals respect him. His high confidence also one of his trait.
My similarity with Mourinho is my passion with what I really like to. If I am doing a kind of activity that I have passion in it, I will do it my best. For example, when I was younger I am good at drawing then I took some chance in the competition. Because I have passion in it, I do it without any hesitation. However, there is also a dissimilarity between me and Jose Mourinho. Unlike him, I do not have a great confidence in wo...

... draw many attentions by media, especially British media. When his team lose, many media will write a news that blame him for the lost of his team.
It is not easy to deal with so many challenges if you are really famous and draw many attention from the world. But Mourinho always answer the critics and challenges by bringing his teams to the glory. When he is criticized of his negative football, he answer it by beating an attacking oriented team like Barcelona and Bayern Munchen. His arrogance outside the field may be hated by rivals and media, but he proves it by his really great achievements and glories.
Considering all of his achievements and personality, I pick Jose Mourinho as my hero. His personality inside and outside the field show us, he is a big heart person and never give up even if he is underestimated by many people and faces challenges or better teams.
love for competition helped him become a leader on the football field as well as
Some people may disagree and say that Andrew Carnegie was a hero, because he had integrity, and was financially successful. In the article Andrew Carnegie by
Demi Lovato is a hero because she is brave, confident, and not afraid to speak her mind. She inspires people and gives them hope so they can continue to live their lives with no regrets. Who is your hero? If that question was asked to a group of people, some might think of loved ones or family, and some may talk about doctors, firemen, or even a teacher. However, most would probably say their hero was some celebrity or star athlete. While some celebrities and athletes can justifiably be labeled "heroes", there are some people who may appear to be heroic, but lead a completely different life off the field.
Having my dad as my coach was a great factor in my soccer career. Even though he was hard on me, he pushed me to do my best. Without him on the sidelines I wouldn’t have became the soccer player I am today. I found myself spending more time with my dad than I would have if I never played soccer. Playing soccer with him really brought us together and we have a great relationship because of it.
Growing up in a rough neighborhood, positive role models were not present in my everyday life. Fortunately, I created a personal understanding of what it took to be a true leader when Marcelo Neveleff became my coach. Coach Marcelo was my club soccer coach throughout my teenage years, and Marcelo demonstrated three key tenets that made me realize what it took to be a great leader. From his guidance and inspiration, I have drawn that in order to become a successful leader, I must be goal oriented through determination within myself by leading from the front. This reflects that there is a specific goal that I, as a leader, must be willing to reach that will inspire others to do the same. To become a successful leader, I must also be empathetic
Heroes, crime fighting people that save the world from bad guys and super villains. Some heroes might be like that, but not my hero. This man was a normal person that rose to a opportunity that he saw and took it. He help many people with their hardships of being treated differently. My hero is Martin Luther King Jr, he had many great ideas that changed history forever. I think that he did it all out of love not popularity and he did so in a peaceful way, therefore I think he is a great hero.
...t success through opportunities and hard work. Having the fortitude to seize all the opportunities at hand and the resolve to work hard, even early on in life, through his medical problems, Lionel Messi has been able to outshine all others and make a name for himself as one of the best to ever play the game of football.
Every leader must be able to accept the fact that they are not perfect and each person has things that they exceed at and things that come with a bit of difficulty. I do not see myself as being outstanding in a certain area but I do think that one of my talents is adjusting to change. When I came off to college I did miss my family a lot, but I kept myself busy by being more outgoing and finding new/different things to do. One of the reasons why I am probably so good at adapting to change is because I want change; I love switching things around and doing stuff another way.
Coaching, however challenging, is a great way to influence the lives of others while also building their character. For as long as there have been sports, there have been people teaching the sport to the players and making them better at it. Coaches must have certain qualities in order to obtain success. One must also look at a coach’s motivation for his job, his passion for what he does, his methods for coaching, and how he became a coach in order to fully understand him. There are many questions someone may want to ask a coach about his profession if they are interested in coaching. Some questions would include: Why did he choose this as a profession? How did he get into coaching? What does one have to do to get a job as a coach? How does a coach become successful? I aim to answer all of these questions and more in my paper.
he stands as a legend. But he knows there is more to it than just
David Beckham is the one sports star, who not only is a phenominal player, but is probably the most famous sports icon outside just soccer. It is definetely harder to find someone that has not heard of David Beckham, than someone who has. People occasionaly wonder, however; "Why Beckham? Why is he so famous?" The answer might not be very simple, but maybe it is the combination of a great shot, a fantastic cross, his own Adidas shoe, his changing hair-style, his modeling career, his marriage to the Spice Girl Victoria Beckham (formerly Adams), his big mistake against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup, his England capitancy and him having belonged to the two largest teams in history that make him so popular among the crowd. When one reads David Beckham's autobiography, David Beckham My Side, something that is surely visible and clear, is his igoistic thoughts and life-style.
Barcelona needed a spark. Something or someone that could rejuvenated the bruised and battered team. Many fans were hoping for a brighter future, and the newly elected FC Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, had promised it in the form of the world class midfielder, David Beckham. Laporta was not the favorite in the election, but the Beckham promise swung the vote in his favor. The only problem was, Laporta knew that Beckham had already agreed to sign with Real
In conclusion, we can see that Messi’s career have been successful in over a short period of time. But, has also had some upsets that were overcome by the young superstar and also overcame his disorder to reach his goal of being a professional soccer player. In addition, all his hard work have paid off because he won some of the most prestigious award that a soccer player can get at this level, like the Golden Ball. And that can say that he is the “FIFA World Player”, of the seasons 2008 and 2009, because all the people decided that he decided, such as thing like that.
My dad is a hero to me because he shows me strength he explains the bad choices he has made in his life so that I can make the good choices. If it wasn’t for my mom and Jesus, my dad wouldn’t be who he is today. My dad is a man of honor to My Lord and Savior. He shows me that if I ever need help with a decision, I need to either go to him or ask God for help. When my dad started working here in Greeley, he, my mom, and I all had to make a decision to move up here. My mom and I didn’t get to see my dad a lot in Trinidad, so that’s when my mom said we were going to move up here to be him.
