Writing has played a big role in my life from a young age I took a love to books. I think that the books in my life were a big role because of how influenced I was by someone else’s writing. Overall id say I'm a good writer, sometimes I know I need to work on the mechanics and the paper itself can be a bit stronger. I enjoy creative writing because it allows you to tell a story. Its making a piece of art wit words and i thrive off of creativity, I’m also good at texting and social media. Id have to say those are the areas im most comfortable in because i do it everyday. I dont really have a preference when it comes to writing. I like change, a different prompt every time keeps me on my toes and using my mind to be even more creative. I think as an …show more content…
Many artist are grea at what they do until it comes down to explaining it.i think not being able to properly explain your artwork makes your piece lose value. I would like to become a better writer for that exact reason. I hope this class challenges me and also teaches me things i can use for the rest of my career.
One of the learning outcomes that I feel will be challenging towards me is the creativity and innovation. I have no problem innovating things; it is something that I do naturally. I'm always looking for a way to improve something to make it easier, faster, and better. However, the creativity part is and has always been a challenge to me. It takes me a while to think of my own original ideas. It's something that I’ve been working on but it's all about expanding your imagination and the possibilities within yourself. Even in my art classes I have a hard time coming up with an idea or finding inspiration on something I want to create. I think I always do well with collaboration because it's a whole bunch of ideas coming together to form one great one. It's a form of innovation and I think I’m a great innovator. I enjoy working in groups
The relationship that I have with writing is hard for me to explain, it’s bitter-sweet for me. I was introduced to writing as child, and I must admit writing was very easy for me to grasp. I recall learning how to write an essay and being successful in doing so. The flipside to me writing is that I don’t like to read, well we all know that reading and writing goes hand and hand together. Approaching my adult life I began to gain a different type of respect for writing, I realized how much I needed to be able to write and the importance of writing.
Writing lets me express who I am, what I am able to create, and how I use my imagination.
Writing is something that always came relatively easy to me. I was not the best student in High School, though that was primarily due to my lack of effort and enthusiasm. I was certainly capable of doing the work, though baseball and Atari always seemed to come first. But with writing, I was most often able to produce the quality of work my parents expected of me in a short and painless amount of time.
I do not consider myself a writer, it is something that I neither enjoy doing nor am I a good writer. I believe a lot of my poor writing skill has to do with the fact that I only began to enjoy reading about four to five years ago. According to Stephen King in On Writing, in order to be a good writer you must read a lot and write a lot; and I am only just starting to read for pleasure.
At first glance, creativity doesn’t seem like a difficult concept. Creative people are either geniuses who pump out innovative ideas day and night, or they are ordinary individuals who experience a sudden flash of genius, only to fade back into normality. This definition of creativity, along with many of the other versions an average person might come up with, is fundamentally flawed: it implies that people don’t have a choice in whether or not they could generate innovative ideas. This interpretation is extremely discouraging for anyone hoping to be successful in the age of technology, where ingenuity has replaced intelligence as the most important quality a person can possess. Luckily, creativity is not just an entity that some people possess and others don’t; it is a skill that people should strive to advance. Creativity and its development are common topics for psychologists and academics, and a plethora of research has been conducted on this subject.
I really enjoy writing. I believe writing can be important in expressing yourself. How you write can also give an insight to who you are as a person. As a writer, I would describe myself as hesitant, emotional, and embarrassed.
Writing has been my passion for many years. Some people think that anyone can pick up a pen, a piece of paper, and start writing. I believe it takes a special talent to be able to sit down and write a good, organized story that expresses true emotion. I am not the type of person that talks a lot, so I feel like I express myself through writing. Writing is a way for me to show people what I can do with my mind.
Hello, I am Deepti (pronounced as Dip-Dee) I am 18 years old just graduated high school in may of last year. This is my first year at RMCAD I am earning a Bachelors in Illustration. With this degree I plan to become an art teacher, in the future, after a while of teaching, I really hope that I can make it to the point where I can live by selling my artwork. I think that would be really cool! Based on my history of writing my favorite type of writing is poetry. It can be so easy but complicated at the same time. It really can make the writer think and the reader. My least favorite is creative I am not a very creative person and I am the type of person who needs directions for everything haha... My strengths as a writer is opening my mind to
I have always searched for greater meaning in my life. I am perpetually anxious and bored. As a child, I found that reading took me out of my life and into lives I wanted to live. My fear of mediocrity nips at my heels and sends me running. Running leads to stumbling, and when I hit the ground the only way to rid myself of the shame is by writing. I must write like an addict must use. There is no high, I just get well. At an early age, I concluded that I was missing something vital, something that weighed enough to keep me grounded. The realization that I was deeply flawed took me on many paths that left me with more questions than answers. I became fearful that I would live out the rest of my life directionless. I was looking for something
Writing has always been a major part of my daily life. Starting as a middle school student I would write daily journals about my life situations. Once I started high school I continued to write and learned how to write essays and journals, but after leaving high school my level of interest slowed down tremendously. During the twenty years of being out of school and still to this very day I write the majority of what I have seen or done and some examples of my writing is taking notes at church and now in college. I also feel writing at work is important to me, as far as documenting tasks I have completed.
Everyone has certain connections and feelings that revolve around reading, writing, and communication. One is either excited by reading a book for their English class or dreads it. While writing an essay moves some to be stressed out, it also moves some to have a reason to express themselves. A few people do great with speeches. Others have nervous breakdowns by just the thought of speeches. Basically, everyone feels differently towards each of these as it affects them inversely. I, myself, was affected in some way. Writing gives me anxiety, speeches make me precarious, and reading pacifies me. With that being said, it’s obvious that reading has played the biggest role in helping me become the literate person I am today..
Strangely enough, I sometimes do enjoy writing although it must be with very specific conditions. I will write to release pent-up stress. I would love to be one of those people who
I love to write. Writing has always been one of my favorite ways of self expression along with
Writing Is My Passion; An Autobiographical Essay Writing is something that I love to do, academic or not. I know that I have both strengths and weaknesses. Nonetheless, even with my love for writing, there are also things that I find to be difficult and frustrating. However, there is nothing that I would love to do more than write and improve on my writing for the rest of my life.
Thinking back to my first day of my senior year in high school, I remember how much dread filled me whenever I thought about the upcoming year in English IV. Now, one semester through this class, it is not nearly as bad as I was told it would be. I am not a great writer, and I knew that coming in. However, I really wanted to challenge myself my senior year so I would not slack off and take all of the “easy” classes. Yes, I thought this class would be a challenge, but I did not imagine that it would challenge me this much.
