Success for me is to fully find your purpose in life and aim for a certain goal. Success to others may mean distinctive things. People mostly say that to become successful is to work hard and you will have lots of money. Success is not handed to you on a silver platter. Success is a goal you wish to accomplish and only you can want to complete this goal. My On Course success strategies I will use for future preferences are to accept self-responsibility, to develop emotional intelligence, and to employ interdependence. The following strategies will help me succeed in years to come and give high chances for me to succeed.
First, accepting self responsibility is seeing themselves as the primary cause of their outcomes and experiences. To achieve this strategy, I will not be a victim. What I do is my responsibility and not fate or luck are to blame. For example, I missed the bus this morning because I overslept and have no other ride to school. My backup ride is unavailable and walking is not a option. I start getting angry and blaming my backup driver for not being available. It is her fault that I will be missing class today. To show that I am accepting self-responsibility, I calm down and take a look

To achieve this strategy, I will not let my emotions control my actions. For example, my teacher has handed back our essays that we have worked on for the past week which will determine our final grade for the class. I received my grade and was not satisfied by the outcome. After class I went up to my teacher and angrily told her that her teaching methods are irrelevant. I did not wait for her response and walked out the door. Later, I looked back at my situation and saw that I let my emotions take over. I spoke to the teacher the next day and apologized for my behavior. She allowed me to redo the essay and I developed my emotional
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
Success is not earning a fat juicy check at the end of each month, or being a part of a large social group filled with fraudulent people that appear as familiar faces. But it is a person discovering him or herself after they had been lost and establishing a sense of purpose that makes them fills them with a warm glowing sense of accomplishment. Success does not have one transparent definition, it has various meanings depending on what success means to the individual trying to achieve it. Success is surviving.
To give my personal philosophy of success I would first have to define “success”. Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. My success philosophy that I plan on implementing from now on is accepting personal responsibility for the good and bad choices I make. There will be time when I need to focus on school and worry less about my free time. If I have a test to take I have to study for that test to get a good grade and continuous good grades will help me pass the course. I can’t depend on anyone else to do my work for me I’m personally responsible for completing my assignments and turning them in on time. When the weekend comes around and all I do is procrastinate by telling myself I’ll study later. The smart thing to do about this situation would be to think wise and use my time-management strategies. I’ll always have time for myself, so sacrificing some free time now is well worth it. This helps me to be a creator and not the victim about things and keeping up with the self-management strategy. The success strategies that I will use will help my learning style, self-management and self-responsibility. Most people believe success is just having lots of money, cars, and women but I believe success is an individual sport and I have to be ready to play because the outcome of my performance is based on the work I put into it.
There are several qualities to have to be successful in college. These qualities can range from attending class to going above and beyond what’s expected. Success comes from the journey taken or the path chosen. Success also comes from being prepared. As a student, I must step up to the challenge and find the path to success along the way. Several ways I define success is to uphold academic integrity, have the ability to prioritize, and to motivate myself to stay on top of what needs to be accomplished.
My overall success as a student can be seen in some of the key areas of my personality, true grit and determination, creativity, organization, and adaptability. When I became a mother in 2012 I quickly learned that having the ability to adapt in any circumstance and creatively take on daily challenges became one of my most important attributes. Both of my boys drive my everyday resilience to be the best student and mother that I can be. They drive me to accomplish my goals both as a mother and academically. Looking at their young faces that will shape the future of our world I hope to be able to inspire them to be determined in their academic career to be the best they can be.
Planning is the process in which an organization envisions its mission and develops the necessary steps to achieve that mission. Of the four management functions, planning, organizing, leading, and controlling, planning is the most important. Planning can be short term or long term. Managers use short-term plans on a daily basis because they are easier to achieve than long-term plans. Companies use long-term plans when plan for long-range vision (Pfeiffer 12-18)

If you have a plethora of skills, you will have a higher chance of success than other people. Skills allow you to qualify for certain positions and allow you to excel in what you need to. You can have time to achieve your goals and predict what else you need to do. Success can come in many ways including family, money, fame, respect, and achieving your goals. There are many ways to achieve success but these are only a few ways. Only you can decide who you want to be and determine your own goals. You’re the only person who can judge your

“Your life is what you make it. As long as you are happy, I will always be proud of you.” My father has said that to me more times than I can count. His constant support is impeccable, but he has blessed me with a gift even more powerful than that. My father is the reason that my life now has direction. Since I was a little girl, he has been teaching me everything he knows about running a kitchen. Recipes are rare in his house. Usually he figures out how to make a dish on his own, from scratch. When I got married and moved in with my husband, I had to start applying everything I had learned from my father into our daily meals. As time went on my cooking skills improved tremendously. It became my obsession. After being out of college for nearly one year, I decided to go back to get a degree in Business Management and Hospitality. My dream is to own a food truck, and I know someday I will turn this dream into reality.
Success can be determined in various ways. There are many formulas that people can try to calculate a person’s chance of achieving success. As stated in the book Outliers, by bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell, there are many factors that determine success. Gladwell after all is successful. He has published five books, was named one of Times magazine 100 most influential people, and won the American Sociological Association's first award for Excellence in the Reporting of Social Issues. Gladwell published his third book Outliers examines how a person's environment, in conjunction with personal drive and motivation, affects his or her possibility and opportunity for success. Malcolm Gladwell uses logical appeals, facts and statistics from very well-known successful people, and emotional appeal to the reader to make them realize that they cannot become successful in their field unless they combine a number of factors to become successful. Whether it is something that the person can control like the 10,000 hours or something that is out of the person’s hands like when they were born Gl...
Success may be defined in many ways by many people. According to Oxford English Dictionary, it is, “the prosperous achievement of something attempted.”(“Success”). That is, if one achieve his/her desire or goals, it would be considered as his/her success. But it is true that the definition and explanation varies according to the eye of beholder. Generally, Success means fulfilling the goals that you set for your life. For some, success may be money, big house and a luxury car. However, for others, success may be the happiness they feel after achieving their goal. I personally feel, success is not what is accomplished, but what is felt from
Success, by definition, it means to achieve a goal or purpose. To some, success might be popularity, or even getting a raise at their job; but to me, success is more about how you live. At first this statement might confuse a person, but then if one digs deeper into this response they’ll find something greater. This “something greater” is certainly not anything materialistic, rather someone’s spiritual faith and their happiness in what they do.
Success takes many different definitions. People have different interpretations of what success really means. For me is as simple as: living well and laughing often. The idea of living well is a very broad statement. Living well, in my opinion is getting success in personal, social and professional life. If I can achieve all of these three levels of success, I believe that I have lived well.
Success is something we all wish to achieve and even though we have different definitions of success, we all want to success in different aspects of our lives. For some success, success is attaining an education, others it's getting a good job, for others it's being wealthy, and others to start and own a business while for others it's having a family of our own and seeing our children prosper. We all have different metrics of measuring success and we all have different goals, but it is part of human instinct to want success, to want to succeed in everything we do no matter how small or big. Success gives us a feeling of development and growth, a sense of gratification that we are no longer where we used to be, but rather
