The Journey
Everyone have their own story, so do I. I have an awesome and great life in UNIMAS. It all started at 22 September 2013 and I still can remember this date. All the new adventure begins. New book, new story, new stage, but the same main character. My name is Imran Fahmie Lutfi bin Rushan Lutfi and this is my story.
I was very excited when I first entered UNIMAS. At that time I really don’t believe that I can continue my studies at UNIMAS. It just like dream comes true. Far from family, and home. I was really excited, and I really do.
K9/B/G/5 this was I first new home at UNIMAS and in this house, I got a new happy family. Din, Eddy, Kerol , and Yau, they are my new family at UNIMAS and what really made me so excited about my new family was because Yau is an Ibanese. He is my new friend which is different from my others friends. He is my first Ibanese friend. I keep finding new friends in UNIMAS because of to avoid home sick. For your information, I am from extended family. I live together with my grandparents, my uncle, my aunt and also my nephews, so you can imagine how rousing my home is. So to make me feel like staying at home, I find a lot of new friends and treat them like my own lovely family.
As a normal adult, I really have feelings towards my opposite gender. When I first entered UNIMAS, the first thing I realized was ‘Sarawakian and Sabahan girls are so pretty’ or ‘kacak’ in Malay Sarawak dialect. Based on the theory by Freud, at my stage(puberty to adult) I more to heterosexual relations and because of that, I really like to watch Sarawakian and Sabahan girls but still I don’t have any girlfriend in UNIMAS, but there are someone special in my heart, and if GOD willing, after I graduate, I will married tha...

...s hard for me in the first time, but, I always motivated myself that I can do and I will do. To me it was not an easy job to do, it need a lot of effort and morale support. Thank you to GOD, I can manage to make this easier.
As a conclusion, money can but a lot of things, but not memories. Life is not about journey at all, but life is an adventure. We need to prepare our mental and physical ready to face the adventure. Life is not a subject that people can learn in a textbook. We need to find it. To understand what means life, first step is we need to change our own perspective towards life, and we can see the rainbow of life. Enjoy our single time of life, because, we can undo the time. Always make the time in our life valuable, so one day we don’t regret. Last but not least, don’t forget to thank to GOD because give you a valuable change to live everyday.
It was a bit intimidating, considering I wasn’t the confident 17-year-old I am now. What made it easier was that I had a Link Crew Leader. In order to give back to my school, I decided to be a Link Crew Leader as well and after going through an interview I was given the position. Link Crew is a program created for incoming grade eights. We as leaders welcome new students to our school, make them feel comfortable and create an environment where they can be themselves. This eventually enables all these students to place all their energy on their education without having to worry about other social issues. I strongly believe in the mission behind the program and the importance of education and how every child should be given a fair chance at it as well. I 've been in Link Crew for two years now, and I 've learned about the importance of acceptance and how simple actions can enlighten someone 's entire perspective on things. Supporting the students has also taught me to always be caring and thoughtful to
Exploring the duality of memory; how we perceive the past, learning about the duality of the present; how we are constantly between the expectation of the future and past experience, as well as coming to the realization of the duality of life and death; how we are always living and dying at the same time. We are constantly in a state of suspension between dual experiences, whether they be life and death, love and loss, hot and cold, fast and slow, close and far, or past and future. There is no differentiating between them as they are all interconnected and depend on each other for their own existence. There would not be one without the other and we cannot appreciate the good without the bad. Life comes with infinite possibilities and even more ways to experience them, so we must take it all in with acceptance and appreciate the suspension act of life while we
I thought it was a very big challenge being a brand new nurse in the hospital. I would say that I struggled with confidence and overall stress for the first 6 months. I quickly realized that very few patients fit inside a clinical box that I had learned in textbooks. I was very task oriented, just from being overwhelmed with work load, and it was difficult for me to critically think in the way I knew I was capable of. A lot of this improved with time and supportive mentors. (5)
For some, happiness is all that matters. Happiness is achieved in many ways, and it doesn’t always involve money. There are many things that contribute to making a person feel happy and successful. One can feel successful without a lot of money at all. For example, feeling loved is something that makes everyone happy. Many believe that without love life is not thoroughly complete, thus never truly achieving success. Ones line of work can also affect how happy he is. Some feel that it is more important to enjoy work and get less money than it is to hate work and get paid more. Another factor in achieving psychological success is ones ability to enjoy what life gives him. There are many qualities of life that are overlooked. Everyone is dealt family and it is important to value that.

In real life, many people believe that once they have money can answer problems. They might inherit a large sum of money and then feel as though they never need to work again. Little do they know that there is more to life than money. Moreover, complete satisfaction and life’s answers can not come from money alone. Joy and satisfaction come from the priceless moments in life such as the birth of a child.
...ther, a beautiful picture is behold. Along these lines, memories shape a person’s identity. Life may have been just a collection of memories and a single moment can spark a lifetime.
Moments in our lives, will often leave a memory, some vivid, others vague. A memory recalls an experience we have had; coming of age opportunities usually are those that become memorable. Hannah Goodwin gives advice to, “Make time to create memories” (2013, para. 1). Goodwin continues to explain that, “Making memories does not require tons of money, or need to be elaborate vacations or expensive gifts.” (2013, Para. 1). I strongly agree with Goodwin’s statements. Some of my most memorable experiences came from simple things I did as a child, such as learning to ride a bike, playing board games with my family, and even playing in the snow. It was those simple, yet fun activities that all created life-long memories for me. Not only did these activities create great memories, but each one taught me something that has helped me become who I am today. From learning good sportsmanship while playing games with my family, to learning how to build a snowman, though simple things to learn, I got to learn them while having fun. I think that creating memories is important because as you reflect upon past experiences it becomes eas...
How can you be satisfied without remembering the significant memories in life? Memory is the way we function through our day-to-day lives. Without memory we wouldn’t be here today, it is something that you develop to learn overtime. Memory is fascinating and can function and improve in many ways. It is astonishing how we can remember a certain taste, smell, sounds, and objects over a long and short period of time. The memory is very complex and consists of many components. In this essay I will be informing you on how the human memory is critical in our everyday lives.
“Money never prevents anyone from being happy or unhappy.” The quotation means that money cannot buy pleasure and you can find jubilation in the few subjects in life. Money controls society so abounding individuals never have a chance to figure out what else is important such as friends and family. Your loved ones can be used to create memories and with those memories you can attain true happiness. Human nature is so controlled by money that they do not understand the value of the few concepts in life.
As money can be really important, alongside to food to eat, a house to live in, and places to go from here to there, but for all of those things, you need money. So that’s when “money can buy happiness” expression comes in because many people think that since money can buy everything they want in life, then it can easily buy happiness. My parents lived a decent life style, they had the amount of an average person in Amman Jordan. Meaning that we weren 't filthy rich, but we also weren 't poor either. The amount of money we had was enough to make us happy. We didn’t struggle with anything like food or other necessities we needed. My parents always say that "it’s better than nothing" because looking at others who don’t have much money makes me
Imagine, someone losing a close love one; they are already grieving but also their love one had a large amount of debt and lived an unhappy life with no exposure to new experiences. Happiness is the state of being joyful; it’s the feeling that comes when one knows life is good. However, the question is can money really buy happiness? According to Gretchen Rubin, “No money cannot buy happiness, but money can buy a lot of things that will contribute mightily to happiness.” Money can buy happiness when one wisely uses it for experience’s, helping others, and investing in life.
Society wants us to believe that living a life devoted to the pursuit of money will lead to success. Sadly, this is not true. Though money can buy conveniences and comforts, one will need much more than artificial amenities to live a successful, well-balanced life. Money makes life easier, not better. For example, money cannot make some intelligent, only hard work and dedication will lead a person to become smart. Money cannot help someone build a long-term relationship with someone you love; this only comes through passion and devotion. All the money in the world cannot teach respect or courtesy that only comes with good teaching and a strong concern for the feelings of others. Money merely detracts from the pursuit of success by providing distraction, temptation, and corruption. Therefore society claim that having money determines success is illegitimate and cannot be synonymous with the true meaning.
In the memoir, Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, Morrie an old man who has a terminal illness ALS in his last months teaches Mitch a man who has been half sleep all his life as Morrie would say, many life lessons, but one that really got my attention was that Money cannot buy love or happiness. Morrie would say that materialistic people think that money can buy love and happiness, but it is not true, neither of those things have a price.
If one could get money everyday would that person be the happiest person alive? One's thoughts on this would be money only makes people happy in certain situations. If one was a millionaire and they got $20 it wouldn’t really make a difference to them. If someone was in poverty or close to being in poverty $20 make them super happy because they don’t have a lot of money. Money can only go so far with happiness because money can’t buy one’s family or friends, usually it takes personality and love to find those things. It’s understandable that people need money to do things, but in one’s opinion, if you put some thought into things and have friends/family their with one than one can be the happiest person
