Are we even related? Are we really sisters? You would think coming from the same parents and living together that we'd be clones of each other. But that's not the case here. My sister, Kelsey and I, are different in many ways but at the same time similar. It's weird to think our blood is the same but we are so different. As weird as it is, she's not only my sister, she's my best friend. Life wouldn't be the same without her in any way. She's my other half and she protects me. I love her and I'm truly thankful God chose her to be my sister.
Kelsey is my hero, I look up to her. She is very tall, tan and has huge curly hair. Her hair is dark black and very thick. Kelsey is in college and attends at OU. She is 20 years old and is an adult. October is the month she was born in. Her hobbies in high school included playing basketball. Basketball was her everything. Aggressive is an understatement when it comes to Kelsey on the basketball court. She was an amazing player. She was a varsity letterman all 4 years. There is never a time Kelsey isn't smiling. Green is her favorite color....
It seems that every sibling doesn’t always have a great relationship with their older or younger siblings. In the movie “Real Women Have Curves”, we have two sisters, Anna and Estella, who seem not to get along in the beginning because of their differences, but at the end they become the best of friends because they have similar dreams and learn to support each other. The advantage of Anna and Estella’s relationship is that they benefit from each other. The whole story is that you don’t always realize how much you have in common with your siblings until you realize that you have similar dreams and can be there for each other.
My sister is the individual I go to when I require somebody to converse with, the person who is dependably there and recognizes what to say. My more established sister has affected who I am by showing me the estimation of pride and diligent work and like whatever other more seasoned sister she has been a good example. She would wear something blue so there I was attempting to discover something near to that shading and style; even thought she would get distraught. I grew up seeing her desire for mulling over and buckling down. This taught me that through diligent work anything is
She is 13 years old. She likes to make art. loves to sing, especially “Stitches” by Shawn Mendes. She likes technology. In my sister’s freetime my sister is a golfer for Sartell. She likes to read. She also listens to music. A special memory I have with her is when we were little we took a an old mattress and we tied blankets as seat belts and rode the mattress down the stairs. I love my sister because she can be very mean, and we act like cat versus dog, she can also be very nice and respectful to other people. Alyssa likes the Hunger Games movies and books, olives, Sonic Heros video game, and tea. My sister does not like peppers, mushrooms, and big groups of people. My sister is compassionate, respectful, a deamer, and
Most would say that I have a bubbly personality or that I am a ray of sunshine. My sister on the other hand, at first would be described as quieter and keeps to herself. However, when you really get to know her she can talk a mile a minute and is super outgoing. My sister is as bright as a light bulb; her favorite subject is math and to her, chemistry is a piece of cake. I often find myself envying how school comes so naturally to her and sometimes I wish I could just steal her brains. When we were little we were super close. I remember we would always wake up at an absurd time on Saturday to play games or watch Disney Channel together. We were best friends and could never be separated. However, as we both got older, we started to grow distant and talked to each other less. We got in more fights and I thought she was getting meaner and that her personality was as hard as nails. I felt she was always too busy to talk to me or that she never cared about my feelings. On the contrary, my sister started to view me as a thorn in her side. She felt that I was constantly bothering her and that I was too young to understand or to be able to play with her. When she was in highschool and I was in middle school we barely saw each other due to different after school activities and different schedules. There was a time when we only talked in the car because that was the only time we saw each

My parents have instilled in me the importance of showing respect for authority figures, of listening, having responsibilities and time management, to name a few of the things that have helped shape me into the person that I am today. I feel incredibly
She stands a staggering 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs a massive 95 pounds, and has short, brown hair and brown eyes. I see my older sister Leslie. Others see a model of perfection. Don't get me wrong, my sister and I are close and have been inseparable since birth. My mother has kept pictures of us ranging from the time we shared a playpen as babies to just recently at Leslie's graduation. For seventeen years, we've shared every life experience imaginable, and we've dealt with the trials and tribulations that come with growing up. But in September, she left home to attend the University of California at Irvine, leaving me to face life alone. However, it gave me the opportunity to live life by myself as Ryan, instead of Leslie's little brother.
In “Nothing Must Spoil This Visit” by Shauna Singh Baldwin and “Everyday Use” by Alice Walker, two pairs of sisters are you’re average loveable sisters. Sisters can be blood related or by marriage. “Is solace anywhere more comforting than in the arms of a sister?” Many sisters do feel this way about each other. However, Chaya and Janet in "nothing must spoil this visit, who are sister in laws, but are not the best of friends. They are supportive of Carla and her abilities.
Did you know that the best kinds of lovers are the people that start out as your friend? This is shown in the lyrics of the R&B song "Lovers and Friends", sung by Usher, Ludacris, and Lil Jon. This song is about two people who have been friends for a long time and now are ready to take the step into being lovers. In "Lovers and Friends" the writers use sensory description and figurative language to show the theme that friends make the best lovers.
My sister is important to me in a numerous amount of ways. She has taught me to be truthful, kind and to never loose faith. Through her I’ve learned to have self-confidence in all that I do or I won’t limit to half of the things I am capable of. I am very thankful that she is a part of me because I know without her I wouldn’t be who I am today. She has helped mold me into the person I have become. I learn from her that making good choices is one of the most important things in life, no matter the situation. Every moment I have with ...
I have three siblings along with three nephews. I have a younger sister, older sister, and one older brother. My older sister is the one that had my nephews. We all lived under the same roof until I moved out for college. My mother was more like my father in the house because my father was away working for us, and even though my siblings are her children, it seems that they 're her siblings too. It felt that I was the parent of my nephews and little sister because of the way I had to care for them because everyone else was working. I connect with my immediate family firmly. We always look out for each other because we mean so much to one another. I
Have you ever been influenced by some important person that helped you be the person that you are today? I have been. The people that have had influence on me are the most important humans beings, my family. But before I begin talking about my family, I want to describe to you the place that we spend most of the time together which also means something important to me and my family. This place is called the family room. This room is small but cozy. It is painted in white and has three windows decorated with beautiful curtains. By the windows you can appreciate a nice view of some beautiful trees and a nice pool. On the walls there are some family photos like the ones that show where my brothers and I were born, my graduation photo, some family members photos like my grandparents, and some paintings made by one of my brothers. Also inside this room there is a nice home theater that includes a nice stereo and TV, and a new compact computer. But this is not all, this room has some very comfortable furniture and I can say that they are comfortable because I use them to watch TV, a movie, or just sit and rest. Also the furniture is used by my brothers to sit and play nitendo, to study, or play with the computer. But from all this furniture there is one chair that is the most cozy chair that I have ever sat upon and that is my father's chair. So this is our room, which is very important to us and has a lot of special things, but the most special part of this room is when it brings my family together.
Everyone needs a best friend in her lifetime. She needs somebody that she can trust and go to with her problems. A best friend should be there for you all the time, no matter what the situation may be. In my case, I have known my best friend for my entire life. My best friend happens to be my younger sister, Brittany. She is only thirteen months younger than I am, so we are very close. Having Brittany as my best friend has made me into the person I am today. She has taught me how to trust people, how to resolve my problems, and how to open up and express my feelings.
At no point in life can you be perfect at anything, but you can prepare yourself for the adventures of life. One of life’s biggest challenges is marriage. Marriage requires preparation emotionally and spiritually. Marriage is considered to be one of the hardest aspects of life to control. Merging two different customary lifestyles into one can be difficult especially since the feelings of both are involved. I have learned both the numerous ways to destroy and build a successful marriage. Marriage is the union of man and woman becoming as one flesh according to God’s law and the law of the land.
First, I am a good sister because I am always there for my sisters, no matter what. Siblings should drop anything to help one another, and that is a quality I can proudly say I possess. According to Penn State professors Mark Feinberg and Susan McHale, and graduate student Anna Solmeyer, children with siblings feel more supported and cared for. I provide my sisters with love and support in any situation. No matter what the situation, they know they can be honest with me and I will not abandon them. For me, having sisters is a wonderful blessing because I feel like I will always have someone by my side. My sisters know I am always there for them, and I believe that qualifies me as a good sister.
