My parents are my heros. They are both heros to me not because of what they offered the world, but what they offered me.
To me a hero is someone that you can model yourself after. A person you look up to and strive to be like. To be able to ask yourself what that person would have done in a situation you do not know how to solve. A hero is someone who sets a good example for you and someone with a set of good morals and values. A hero does not always have have to wear a cape and work everyday to save the world. Sometimes our heroes can be normal people. Extraordinary people in my case.
Throughout life people face challenges and obstacles. Often when facing these obstacles alone we become afraid or confused. People tend to try and find that

I admire the two people that worked so extremely hard their whole lives to make sure that me and my brother would grow up feeling loved and like we are the center of someone 's world. I admire the fact that my mother worked during the nights while we slept to only get a couple of hours of sleep and be up in the morning when we wake up to take care of us. And my father devoting his energy and time in his company to make sure that me and my brother had everything we wanted and more. I do not understand how my parents did it. Working that much but still making time for their children. My parents are truly extraordinary people that created a warm and safe environment for me to grow and evolve in. I remember as a young child, if i ever had a bad dream or I was worried that the monsters under my bed would come and take me when i was sleeping. I could always go to My parents room because i knew that no matter what time it was or how early they had to start working the next day they would stay up with me until i feel asleep. i could always count on my heros to be there whenever I feel like i needed someone. I count on my parents to be there for me even to this day. My parents have devoted their whole lives to protecting me and my brother. And that is exactly what i feel when i think of my parents,
A person who overcomes antagonistic and unnecessary issues in a mature and powering manor. That is the definition of a hero to me. Someone who is being hurt and sees others hurt from the actions and takes charge and does everything in his power to change it. Someone who puts others before themselves and acts in the most chivalrous way. The definition of a hero is different for everyone. Some one might think of a hero as someone who can lift a car and put it on their back, or gives a dying person their kidney. Yes all of those people are forms of hero’s. You can’t tell someone that they are not a hero just because they don’t change into a disguise in a telephone both or can throw lightning bolts from a cloud. Everyone is a hero in their own way.
A hero is someone who invests their time helping others rather than themselves. They are always conscious of their surroundings and environment. Heroes help their enemies and friends regardless of the circumstances. A hero is also someone who is humble and knows when to be protective of others and themselves. Heroes are people who acknowledge flaws, and fix mistakes, those were my own definition of a hero. In “Undocumented Immigrant”, Jose Antonio Vargas tells the truth about his illegal status in the United States. Not only was he an immigrant in the United States, he was his own hero. Vargas proved that he is a hero through code switching, bravery and honesty.
A hero is a man of courage and ability who is admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. A hero is a person who does not come along very often in any time period. He is a special person, who is a step above the average person in the way that he handles any situation that may arise.
In my opinion, a hero is someone whose principal purpose, whether it be in one situation or over the span of their entire life, is to help others while simultaneously making the world a better place. When the word hero is brought up, the most prevailing image that comes to mind is superheroes like Batman and Superman. But I don’t think you have to have superpowers or even be well known in order to be a hero. There are people all over the world whose intention is to do selfless deeds and go out of their way for others without expectation of obtaining anything in return. These are the type of people I like to consider everyday heroes. They go through life just trying to be the best they can and trying to help as many people as they can. Whether

My parents have always supported me in everything I have done. They have given up so much of their time to come and support me in every aspect of my life. They never missed a race, volleyball, basketball, or tennis game. I could always count on both my mom and dad to be in the stands cheering me on. There was no better feeling in the world than knowing that they were going to be there no matter how far away, or what the weather was going to be like. My favorite memory of my parents’ dedication to watching me was when I played at the state tennis meet in College Station, Texas. My partner and I were supposed to start our first match at twelve o’clock in the afternoon, but there was a rain delay that lasted fourteen hours. We did not start playing until two o’clock in the morning, and they were there for it all. My dad even stayed knowing he had to be in Arlington, Texas at six o’clock the same morning for an important meeting with his boss.
So what exactly is a hero? Parents are true heroes. Most parental units sacrifice time, money, love and everything else for their children. When times are tough good parents do all they can to make things better for their children. Mothers and fathers often work two jobs, late at night, or on weekends to provide for their kids. My mom is always there for me when I am sick, telling me she wishes she were the sick one. She also reassures me that she always has an extra kidney if I happen to need one. I personally view my parents as true heroes for all they do, have done, and will do.
My mother is my hero because she has taught me to treat others with compassion, thoughtfulness, and generosity. She taught me that those values were important in the best way, by living her own life according to them. She didn’t just tell me about values she felt were important, she lived by them. I have always admired my mother and felt so blessed to have her in my life. I know I am a better person for having her for a mother.
My mother and father differ in their skills, and characteristics they use towards me. I will forever be grateful for the aspects they both have instilled into me. Although my parents may be different, and do not agree on everything, they both love me unconditionally. Living in separate households, with parents who are like yin and yang has been a roller coaster of emotions. Together their different techniques have molded me into the man I have
Our parents work hard to get us where we are today. Due to the fact that my parents had lack of education and there English wasn 't that good they wasn’t able to get a job that was more relaxing. Though they work in company only they were able to earn enough to raise all of us. Through nurture, now that I’m older I don’t exactly see all the struggles that my parent had gone through to raise me, but I do see and understand more about the struggles. Their love for us, nothing can compare to it. Seeing what my parents had gone through and how hard they have work inspired me to work hard, go to school get a good job so in the future they can depend on me and just rest.
My mom was a super-mom. She drove carpool, was always apart of every booster club and was the leader of every classroom party that I can remember. She encouraged me to do everything that I wanted to do. She made sure that I got everything I wanted. None of that would have been possible if my dad didnt work. While it felt like he was always gone, he was just doing what he had to do to make sure that my mom and I could live a comfortable life. Of course he took off every chance he could so come watch me at one of my games or help me practice in the back yard. If I didn 't have them I would have nothing. They are the ones who supported all of my decisions and made me feel better about trying new things. Without them I would not be the person I am. Not only would life without my parents would be drastically different but also without my siblings. Like I said before, they were my best friends growing up. I could always count on the being there for me when I was down. Not only did they bring me up when I was down, but they also praised me when I was up. They treated me like I was the greatest thing that has ever walked on God 's green earth. While they would sometimes annoy me with the constant need of attention and feeling like they needed to be involved in every detail of my personal life, I love them more than words will ever
My parents are brave; they will do anything for my happiness. Not only mine, but also their friends, and families. My father has many friends, and he always helps them whenever they need them most. Without my parents, I probably will not survive. Heroes usually best described as selfless, brave, and often inspiring. A friend of my mother just heard a bad news from her family back in Indonesia, telling that her father has a cancer that already spread in his body. She has to go back and visit her father, but can't afford the plane ticket. My mom not hesitantly let her borrow her money for the ticket. During The May riot in Indonesia, everybody in my complex tried to run away since the natives were going to kill the Chinese. But, My father and couple of his friends ordered them to stay and fight back, and it worked. The natives ran when they saw a crowd of Chinese trying to kill them back. My parents are the most inspiring people for me. They taught me things that I need to know like drugs, and other important things. My father always inspired me to do the right things, to be strong, and be independent. I am sure that all parents that did a lot of things for their children are heroes.
When asked who their hero is, most people respond with the name of an athlete or an actress/actor. When asked who my hero is I would have to respond with a simple three letter word: mom. My mother has been the greatest inspiration in my life and is the main reason that I am where I am and who I am today.
I always think to myself, “What would I do if I didn’t have a father like him?” I think about it and then I say, “I would be in the cracks, not doing anything because there is no one here to keep me going and to keep me motivated.” My dad is an amazing cool person to me because he shows me that no matter what struggles he faces in his life or what happens to him, he always gets out of them and he has me and my mom to help him.
