My Life Soundtrack
In a world like today, one must stay true to their own beliefs, even if they are standing alone. A person must have a mode for motivation and a positive outlook. One of the things that keep me going in today’s world is, doing me and what makes me happy, and wanting to leave an impact on the world, no matter what people think. I realize I have done wrong in my life, but I can accept it. I’ve been lost, now I’m found. I want to leave my mark somewhere, I don’t really care where, just somewhere that it will make a difference. I’m ready to show people who I am and what I’ve done. 8) I’m proud of myself and doing what my mom has always wanted for me. The support and encouragement I receive from my mother is endless, not only as a one in today’s world, but all the choices I make while living in it. One of the songs I hold so close to my heart is “I hope You Dance”, by Lee Ann Womack. I strongly believe that this needs to change. We need to be slower to judge, and quicker to understand everyone is different. “Fight Song”, By Rachel Platten is my go to. “ And all those things I didn’t say. Wrecking balls inside my brain. I will scream ‘em out tonight. Can you hear my voice this time? This is my fight song. Take back my life song” (Platten 2015). I don’t care who someone is, there will come a time when a person realizes they can’t make everyone happy. There will always be someone trying to knock an individual down. Show them a “Fight Song” (Platten 2015). Prove to them that what they think is irrelevant, and continue being oneself. Be strong, never give up.
