Everyone has a different life journey from others. In that journey itself, we generally experienced either happy or sad moments because life is like a Rollercoaster. Sometimes we were feeling up, and there was time we will be falling down. Yet, it is your choice whether you want to scream or enjoy the rest of the ride because you are the one who control your own life. My Journey filled with eventful and unique moments because I have crazy friends, and a lovely family that accompany my day. The following is the story about my life journey begin until the day where I stand today. My own journey started in a city called Jakarta in 18th December 1996. Jakarta is a capital city and the biggest city in Indonesia. For me, Jakarta is a memorable place because I grew up there, and most of my childhood memories are happened in Jakarta. I remembered I used to go to the park near my house with my neighbor friends. I was the youngest between all of my friends, and I was really short back there. Usually, besides of playing …show more content…
Me myself, I went to United State of America with my best friend, Jaya. We are joining Diablo Valley College because we want to transfer to University of California Berkeley and we heard information that Diablo Valley College have a good connection with it. I was very lucky because I have a friend to help me adapted in a new environment. Jaya and I were from the same high school, Darma Yudha. I know Jaya very well because I spend a lot time with him more than I spend my time with my ex-girlfriend. Jaya loves basketball really much, just like me. Three days ago, we played basketball at Tice Valley Gymnasium in Walnut Creek city with other Indonesian Diablo Valley College students. I was startled that there were so many international students from Indonesia. We were getting know to each other, and I was very ecstatic at that time because I felt like I was in Indonesia in a
I was ready to give up and forget about it all together. Until an amazing opportunity arose. How I came across my first job couldn’t be anything but destiny. In 2016 I attended a wedding and this might seem harsh but it was a disaster. I could name at least 50 things that went wrong.
For anyone, there are time when things are going to change whether the change is planned or not. For military families change and loss often are not planned, and they have no choice in the matter. For any one person or family to move through change or loss it is important to go through the steps of transition, also know by Hall (2008) as the transition journey. The three phases of the transition journey that have their own focus and tasks are endings, neutral zone, and new beginnings (Hall, 2008). Not everyone follows the transition journey exactly, but this is a good example and tool to help individuals and families through the process. The three phases of the transition journey are going to be explained in further detail in this paper.
A person does not experience many events that shape their life in a large way, whether it be for better or worse. I have had just one major situation that has sculpted me into the person that I am today. In February of 2008, I was diagnosed with a life changing disease; it would relieve me of the agony I had been experiencing for as long as I could remember, but also restrict my diet for the rest of my life.
Everyone has a special event that determines our life journey. This event can give us identity, happiness or even pain and sadness. The special event that changed my life was deciding to play basketball because basketball helped me find peace, happiness and gave me identity. When I was ten years old my grandfather succumbed to cancer. His death created hatred inside of me.
Everyone has a story, a pivotal moment in their life that started to mold them into the person they are today and may even continue to mold you to the person that you will become, I just had mine a little bit earlier than others. When I was three years old my brother became a burn survivor. It may seem too early for me to remember, but I could never forget that day. Since then, I have grown, matured and realized that what my family and I went through has been something of a benefit to be and an experience that has helped me in deciding what I want to do with the rest of my life.
Although I am only sixteen years old and in the eleventh grade of high school, many things have influenced me and caused me to be the person that I am today. I hope that these things will continue to help me be a better person and influence me as my life continues. Some of the things that have influenced me have been church, my family, my friends, and school.
Life story interview/ project was design for you to get to know a random stranger or a close friends. You would asked general questions about the person life, school, work and family, therefore many will open up to you but a lot of people would not. Before you did the interview you had taken a NIH certification make sure you understand how to do the interview. You had recorded it, transmitted it, coded it and then present it to the class. Once everything was done you learned something new about this person or you may look at their cultural a different way.
Moving from a highly diverse community to a less diverse community has to be the weirdest yet interesting culture shock I ever had to deal with. As a young child, I did not know about the outside world. I thought everyone rides the bus or the metro, graffiti on the wall is normal and traffic wouldn’t matter as much since everything I needed was within walking distance sometimes. There were shocking things I learned once I moved to Nebraska.
My life has been full of so many events. I’ve lived through many hard times combatting my anxiety and depression, while having family problems, and trouble with many other areas in my life. School was a daily problem, and a problem that couldn’t really be avoided or fixed. I really hope that the rest of my life goes in this upward climb pattern that I am in right now, although I expect to have my ups and downs, but now I at least know that I am prepared for them.
There have been tons of things that I have learned and been taught in my life, by a number of people such as family, teachers, or even friends on occasion. The things they taught me vary from math and other related subjects to just some truly simple yet meaningful life lessons. However, there is nothing quite as unique, quite as special as a person teaching themselves a life lesson. It really is an amazing accomplishment for a person to teach themselves something. It is not quite as simple as another person teaching them something because it is not just the transferring of information from one person to another. The person instead has to start from scratch and process the information they have in their mind in order to come up with a new thought
Ultimately, my life is an intricate combination of my past, present, and future. At all times my life is being affected by my past experiences, present situations, and future aspiration. My past experiences shape how I react in present situations, while my future aspirations influence the present situations that I take on. My past experiences also influence the future path they my life takes. Move over, the path of my life is not linear progression of events, but a complex journey of self-reflection and I experience, reflect, and act in my present
I have a very fulfilling feeling about what I have been able to accomplish in my life so far. I want the absolute best for myself and those close to me. I often go above and beyond to help those around me succeed and be the best version of themselves that they can possibly be.
Everyone has milestone days in his/her life that change the direction of his/her life for better or worse. Let me tell you one of my experiences that I will never forget from when I was 12 years old.
First of all my life is wonderful and tremendous I would have to say. Although, every so often it turns dreadful, but I always manage to turn it around so I can be happy and joyful again. Even though, when I was younger my life wasn’t like it is today. I had to deal with enormous changes in my life to get it the way it is today. The biggest change had to deal with friendship.
