My eyes opened very early that morning. I looked out of window and saw beautiful weather outside. It was cold wind. The flowers in my garden were smiling at me. All of a sudden my eyes got watery. I remembered that this was my last day in California. I was going to America early the next day morning with my parents and family. The day was Saturday, 20th December. Tears were running down my face. I went downstairs; everybody in the house was sleeping. They had been packing until late night and I didn't want to them wake them up. Therefore, I went back upstairs. I just started thinking about how I was going to leave my house, my friends, my relatives, and my country. The place where I grew up, the people with whom I had grown up, how I was going to leave without them? It was going to be very hard for me to leave something that I had used to. I took out my album and started looking at pictures with my friends and relatives. I looked at the life that I had enjoyed with them. The moments of happiness and sorrow that we had shared together.
The day begins, but it didn't begin as usual. Finally about 10 o'clock in the morning, I went down stairs. Everybody was awake by that time. They were busy in their work. Nobody had time to hear me. I saw a couple of guests sitting our drawing room so I went back upstairs again. In a few minutes, the intercom in my room rang and I heard my mom tell me to get ready to go to the temple. I took a bath and dressed up like a pretty Californian girl. When I get downstairs, everybody was ready to g...

...The luggage was already in the car then we got in. As we pulled away, I kept looking at my house as far as I could see it. All of our friends and relatives were coming to the airport. We got to the airport. We were running little bit late. Therefore, we had to hurry to get our luggage and check in. No one else could enter the airport but customers so I looked at all of my relatives and friends one last time. They all were crying. We had never lived that far from each other. We boarded the plane, and all I could do was cry. I made my flight to Ohio.
Leaving my home was the saddest day of my life. I am in Ohio now, still missing the life I enjoyed in California with my friends and family, still believing there is nothing better than home.
She picked a seat in the way back, away from all the people. She silently stared out the window making a quiet list inside her head of all the things she had forgotten and all the people she remembered. Tears silently slid down her face as she remembered her aunt crying and cousins afraid of the dark in their house. She couldn’t do it anymore. It was the best for everyone she thought. Deep down though she knew how hard it would be for everyone to find out she was leaving. From her family’s tears, to the lady in the grocery store who was always so kind and remembered her name. She also knew how

whether he was really in love with Rosaline, or did he just want to be
Romeo changes throughout the book. When Romeo went to the Capulets party, he was in love with Rosaline. He saw Juliet and immediately loved her. In act two scene two it Romeo says this about Juliet, "Two of the fairest stars in all the heaven, Having some business, do entreat her eyes To twinkle in their spheres till they return." He compares her eyes to stars in the night sky. Romeo talks about Juliet and is wanting to talk to her. This shows how Romeo is loving and sweet. In the last act of the book Romeo sees Juliet dead in the tomb. She is not really dead, but he doesn't know that. He kills himself so he can be with her in heaven. Romeo is a very loving person, but in one scene he turns into a very hateful person.

She lay quietly on the bed with her face as void of emotion as a sheet of paper without the writing. Slowly, I approached the cold lifeless form that was once my mother and gave her a goodbye kiss.

The day I moved away, a lot of things were going through my young mind. As I took my last look at my home, I remembered all the fun times I had with my family and friends through out my life. Now I was moving 800 miles away from all of that with no insight on what lied ahead for me. As my family and I drove away from our Michigan home, I looked out the window wondering what Virginia would be, and what my friends were doing. A lot of things were going through my mind at the time. At the time my main worry was if I would make any friends, and how I would adjust to everything. During the whole drive down, my mother would often let me know that everything would be all right and I would like it. Trying to be strong and hold back my tears, I just shook my head no, wondering why we had to move so far away. Life would be different for me and I knew it would.

This journey taught me so much that I wouldn’t have ever imagined. I grew from this experience mentally and I saw my parents becoming closer and regaining that bond they held with one another. This event taught me to be more appreciative with all the little things I have and made me realize that life isn’t going to go the way you want it to; you have to fight for the path to lead you in the right direction. I was brought closer to both my parents and my brothers. This event started new beginnings for this family, a new start to get things right because when I found out I would be moving to San Diego, I never would have realized the struggles I went through; especially when I was a silent voice in the decision.
