I thought that going to the magical place on Earth would be the best thing in the world. I was wrong. Don’t get me wrong, I had a wonderful time there, but at times luck was not on our side. Right after the end of the year party, I went home made sure I had everything, because the next day I was to be in Orlando, Florida. I couldn’t go to bed that night, thinking about all the characters I would see. Even if you slapped my face, I couldn’t get the grin off my face. We arrived at the airport, I first had to go through the TSA line. It has been a while since I’ve been on an airplane, so I had no idea what I was doing, eventually after 2 alarms going off I made it through. Seeing my plane, just thought about how closer I was to Disney world. Right then I got my phone, took a picture on my phone, put it right on my story for snapchat. Our plane was boarding. Once I got on my plane, to be honest the plane was a little small, most men- including my dad- had duct there head down. At least we got free food. Made a quick stop to Denver, next stop. Disney World! …show more content…
Once my foot stepped outside, my hair went poof! I have never felt the humidity in the air before. My dad got our rental car, just cruising along the roads of Orlando. I looked to the right I could Epcot, look to my left was trees, but in the midst of those trees was Downtown Disney. I was official Disney World. Chills went down my spine. Back my Dad’s glory days, he worked in Disney World, so you could tell that he was starting to get a little bit emotional. Our hotel was a New Orleans themed hotel. We went to our hotel room, settled down for a moment. Tummies were growling, so my Dad decides to go somewhere off of Disney World, the Ale House. It was just like another Golden Q. Came back to the hotel, next day was
When we left the hotel, my parents had a tough time finding the theme park. There were so many overpasses and lanes, my dad missed the exit a few times. Luckily, my dad finally got off at the right exit. When we first arrived, I was so excited. I had never seen so many seen so many people in one place, and the climate was very different compared to El Paso. I remember listening to the roars of the roller coasters and the screams of the people on them. We finally got into the park. As we entered, I remember it being very humid and moist. There were so many different smells coming from the restaurants.
The sound of music, filling the air with happiness, resonates throughout the area. The scent of delicious buttery popcorn and glazed turkey legs that go on for miles and miles. The feeling of excitement coming into the place is felt in the atmosphere. It is the image of a once in a lifetime moment. When people come in, their imaginations become reality. The name describes itself perfectly. Walt Disney World is the place of dreams and imagination. People come from all around the world to see the rides, characters, food and the entertainment of Walt Disney World. I remember when I went to Disney World this past March. It was the third time I have gone to Disney World. To see the amazement and the expectation of the
The adventure began at the high school where we all met in the afternoon around one o’ clock to board the huge traveling buses that would take us on our journey to Disney world. The ten hour ride was ridiculously long and almost felt never ending, but we finally arrived at our hotel in Orlando at about one in the morning. I remember we all rushed into
The first time I was at Disney World was a long time ago. My family and I were really excited to go for a long time. The Disney World we went to was in Japan. The First we flew there we would up in the morning and go to some of the parks there. I was really young but I still remember everything to this day. We went to all of the parks and most of the shows that would play. We stayed in Disney world for a little over a week. It was our last day so we went to our favorite park animal kingdom. We had a ton of fun but it was about time to get packed up and go on the plane. The plane ride would take around 14 hours long. We were on the plane finally and it was really stormy. There was also a lot of turbulence. The turbulence seemed
It took about 45 minutes to get the airport. Thoughts were rushing through my mind the whole time of what Florida would be like. I had gone twice before, but I was really young and I couldn't remember anything from those trips. My cousins met us at the airport and my grandparents
So have you ever been to Disney World? Most of you probably have been there. I didn’t go to Disney World until November of last year with my family. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it was incredible. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great experience because I was with my family.
The ride to the Boston Logan Airport was long and thoughtful. Looking at myself from the
Everyone who has ever been to Disney World thinks it’s going to be the vacation of a lifetime but when we went it was the vacation from Hell!
When discussing the human ability to tell a lie, or to deceive, it is often discussed in reference to morals and trustworthiness of individuals. Yet, it appears that everyone, or almost everyone, tells untruths at some point in their lives. So, is it wrong to deceive, or are there situations or circumstances that make it okay, actually appropriate, to give false information or to mislead another? There is no question that trust is a requirement for success in life and is attained by honesty, integrity, and building of trust among individuals, but can successful people be liars? Perhaps, the lie itself is measured in levels of deception, levels of harm it causes when found out to be misleading or false. To address
Every once a year my family and I decide where to go for a vacation over the summer. This past summer we decided to go on a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. Our vacations are usually just by plane or by car, but this year my parents wanted to make it interesting and suggested that we go on a cruise. The next day we bought our tickets, parked our car in the lobby , and started up the escalating stairs to be approved. The moment I stepped into the ship I could feel the wave of adventure pushing me down with excitement.
The second I stepped foot onto the amusement park’s property, I could feel the magic swirling all around me. As I walked through the crowds of people young and old wearing Disney apparel and Mickey Mouse ears, everything seemed so enchanting: the cheerful music, the twinkly lights on all of the buildings, and the stores that could have been from my favorite Disney movies. Walking along the streets, I took pictures of everything around me because I did not want to forget a single detail; I took pictures of the vibrant yellow, red, and pink flowers that lined the streets, the buildings with intricate details and designs, and the massive roller coasters that glided so swiftly on their tracks. The air was filled with heavenly scents of sweet churros, and I had to get one; it was delectable. Everything at Disneyland seemed perfect and like it was out of a movie. Even as I was about to leave, I got drawn back in; spectacular, bright, colorful fireworks started bursting right over my head, and I could not bring myself to go. My first visit to Disneyland was truly enchanting and magical. At the time I thought no other vacation could
Knowing that I was flying in the sky made me feel like a superhero. We landed at the Dulles airport around five in the afternoon, it had been a long day and all I wanted to do was sleep. Everyone that sat with us in the airplane were rushing to get out to eat everyone one else to the customs area. After waiting in the line for what at that time seemed like forever it was finally our turn. Everything was going pretty well until the officer was murmuring strange words into his walkie talkie.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
Taking that flight was nothing like the flights I’ve taken before. I had just recently celebrated my fourteenth birthday a week before being told that we were taking a trip. My dad wanted to surprise me for keeping up good grades in school. With my father working in the military and knowing a lot about other countries, I couldn’t have asked for a better gift. Went
My favorite summer vacation was when my Father took me to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. What made it even more memorable was the fact that it was my very first time on an airplane. I cannot recall another time in my life when I experienced so much joy. That trip to Universal Studios was the first time my Father and I actually did something together, just the two of us and was something brought me close to my Father. In this essay I will tell you about my plane ride over there, what I did right when I got there, and about my time at Universal Studios.
