Throughout my life, I went to many places whether it is from traveling to
the different country or traveling to states, but the journey that stood out the most was my
journey to India. For me, this journey stood out a lot because I traveled out of the country. My
experience in India was something that I will never forget because it taught me the reality of the
world we are living in and it opened my eye to how big the world really is. This journey started
ten years ago when I was just eight years old when I was going to India the second time, the first
being when I was just two years old. I was coming back from school and I heard my mother was
talking to someone on the phone about going to a vacation. I had an idea of what

Then, my mother told me that we were going to India and I was
excited because the last time I went there I was only two years old, so I didn’t remember a lot of
what happened when I was in India. So, a week passed, it was the beginning of Christmas break
and me, my sister, and my mother was packing to go to India. We went to the airport and took
the international flight to India, this is where my adventure was begun.
A couple of days have passed and we arrived at the India airport, I was happy that long flight
was over because of the bad seats and food in the airplane. The plane didn’t provide a much of a
support and we had multiple stops, so it made my time in the international airplane not
memorable at all. However, that all went away because when I got off the airport I understood
that I was in India, this idea in my mind made me forgot about my horrible experience at the
plane. When I came out of the plane I met my family from India it was a touching reunion, we
were getting to know each other. The family member I began to talk to was my cousin it started
off as introducing each other, then it went to talking about soccer. After I talked with my

The food we have was a traditional Indian food, like samosa and Pani puri. The food was
delicious it had that traditional Indian taste to me the food in India was much better than the food
in Atlanta. After, I finish eating I went outside with my mother and she showed me around the
area where my grandmother lives and it does not many houses and store, but no restaurant at all.
It was so different because this is not how the life in Atlanta is like, the expectation in India is
shown to be different than Atlanta. The life in India was a little different when I went to the area
where my grandmother lived because kids were able to go anywhere they want and the parents
would be too busy. At the moment I didn’t realize what was going on, instead, I was to
focus on going to places popular in India.
The next day, I took a tour to Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, which is a state in
India. First, we went to Ahmedabad a popular city in Gujarat, where my family comes from.
There I went to Gujarat zoo, it had many different types of animal, that the Atlanta zoo does not
have. During, my time at the zoo I was able to touch many animals and we took many
Where my Aunt lives with her six kids and a small Korean family. I remember my
fact that my husband began working here. Before this, I had never been in the US. In my
Out of all the trips I have taken, Cancun was definitely the best. It was 2013 and I was in fifth grade. I had known about the trip for weeks and I was so amped up for the plane ride, for the hotel, and especially the ocean. I was in science and the teacher was getting mad because I was distracting all the kids by jittering all over the place. Finally I heard my name called over the intercom and I leaped for joy and ran out of the classroom. From school we drove to the Iowa Airport, got our tickets and loaded onto the plane. Our first plane took us to Chicago, Illinois where we boarded a plane , at the O’Hare International Airport, departing for Cancun,Mexico. The second plane was very lengthy, I tried to sleep but I didn’t actually fall asleep
Before, going directly to the point how one event changed my life, I just want to point that I was born and raised up in India. I studied there almost from Pre-k up till 10th grade. I had bunch of friends over there who were extremely close & meant a lot to me. So back in 2011 it was a cold day. I was

When we got there I was pleased to be out of the car. We went to my grandma and grandpa’s house because we didn't have a house yet. My mom
The drive was amazing long but amazing all thought getting by the gates of border lines was going to be difficult. I had to use the restroom BAD and the only restroom was on the other side of the border. I needed to go so bad I got out of the car and walked across the border to the bathroom. My fam still waited in the gate. I got back and they checked my passport card and let me in my car. The name of the girl who was going through the trunk of are car to let us in was McDonald I laughed and said “Great now i’m hungry.”
In India, I stayed in my aunt’s house and one day, after I took a shower, and got ready for the day, I went and sat on the couch. My grandma walked out from the kitchen and noticed me.
We got off from plane and headed towards the exit. My cousins and my family case worker were already their waiting for us. I was so shocked and the same time I was so happy to meet with my cousins after 6 years. This days too when I went to airport reminds me of that day. We collect bags and headed towards my cousin’s house, I was so hungry and I asked my cousin “what kind of food you made” she knew that we love Nepali cosine so she had made Nepali cosine. We ate food after that I went upstairs to rest. I was so excited and little bit scared to be here and start my new life in USA because I knew that USA life is different than Nepalese life style, however that day was my best day ever in my life. I felt like my dream came true. I had a lot of things going through my mind. Like what am I going to do, what is best for me things like
my family there for the first time when I was about three. To this day I still
the front of the trailer park. I asked the babysitter could I go she said, “NO!”
Taking that flight was nothing like the flights I’ve taken before. I had just recently celebrated my fourteenth birthday a week before being told that we were taking a trip. My dad wanted to surprise me for keeping up good grades in school. With my father working in the military and knowing a lot about other countries, I couldn’t have asked for a better gift. Went
In conclusion, Indian cooking can very well be known to be vivid, exquisite, and simply delicious. India is a banquet expressed in colors, smells, flavors, and personalities. An Unforgettable Trip - Personal Writing I finally arrived in Pakistan on a hot, June morning after nine tiring days. hours. The time is a lot. We finally arrived in a village and the heat beyond words was irritating me. I looked around me, there were trees and greenery.
My most memorable trip was the day I went to the Children 's Memorial Hospital to meet my baby brother. Meeting my brother was an indelible moment because I had never felt such happiness and love for someone. On our way there, I also got to create a bond with both my parents and learn how to be a better happier person. At the time I was sixteen years old and was going through a stage where I felt depressed and that’s why the day I arrived at the hospital to meet my brother I felt this warmth in my heart that made me feel happy again.
