My Inspiration The story I'm about to tell you isn't about me it's, more about two very important people I love very dearly and admire, which are my father and my mother. My father is from Cali Colombia, the city of salsa (dancing), my mother is from a small little town in Nayarit Mexico called Acaponeta. Maybe many people have a story or a true reason why they look up to their parents but mine are different from what I witness from my friends parents so nevertheless let me tell you the reasons my parents mean the world to me. My father has always been a old school type of guy who believes that treating others with respect and with manners will open many doors for you no matter what the problem is but to be also a hard worker no matter what it is I'm doing with my life, nevertheless so does my mother . I personally believe that, Why? well... It shows the kind of person you are with others and that speaks a lot of a person. My father and my mother have always showed me that believing in yourself will always make you stand out from other's which is something many can't do. My mother is a person who is different from many mothers, one of those is the way she has always been able to hand difficult situations when things get difficult, and for that she has always been a big figure in my life like my dad, why? She has always been a …show more content…
Cole and there is a song he wrote called "love yours". There is a part of the song that has always stood out for me in this song which goes like, "For what's money without happiness? Or hard times without the people you love, though I'm not sure what's 'bout to happen next, I asked for strength from the Lord up above." For me those words have always been a reference of life and those who we call family. Like every human being, we have all had our good moments in life but when life brings you down, we count on our family to help us come back up. nevertheless that means more then money and power for
Cole’s musical idols, which greatly influenced his musical style. His style captures the attention from younger generations and the adolescent population, whom also came from an uneasy childhood and along the way lost motivation. “I 'm here to spread a message of hope. Follow your heart. Don 't follow what you 've been told you 're supposed to do.” (Music times, 2014) Through this message, J. Cole constantly portrays to be an ambition seeking activist. He hopes to project hope in those who are struggling by sharing his life challenges and voicing how he overcame
My family raised me to respect everyone that I met either it be a man or woman. Growing up and watching my dad talk and communicate with people has stuck with me to talk the same way as my dad. With all of the handy gestures he does for people such as helping someone on the side of the road to helping an older couple find their car. My dad would always tell me to go help an older lady get something off of the top shelf it was too high. sometimes my dad is always telling me to go help and I would sometimes beat him to the problem.
A mother and a father figure will always give you love and affection while the mother teaches you morality, the father teaches you discipline. People see ho...
...My parents have taught me to not be judgmental and to accept people how they are whether I like them or not. They have taught me to be optimistic and to enjoy everyday to the fullest and if you talk to my friends I am sure they would agree that I do that.
Every person comes from a unique family despite of race. I come from a low income family and from Mexican parents who lack a complete education. Despite of their educational status, they are still wise and know their morals to guide me in life. My family sets an example for me since they are all supportive and hard workers which encourages me to be the same. Ever since I started elementary school, I struggled through all school subjects because I didn't speak English since my first language was Spanish. My parents helped me through these struggles the best they can. As I saw them struggling, something triggered inside of me that made me work harder to ease the stress my parents had in helping me. They always support my decisions and encourage
My father and mother have been the shining examples in my life about how if you want something you have to go out and get it. My dad has been a farmer his entire life and worked in a construction business he started for several years. He is now the Faculties Manager at Cornerstone Church and still farms several hundred acres. The most important thing I have ever learned in my life was that if you want something you have to go and get it. My dad has woken up at 4:56am every day for my entire life, no matter if he was sick or not. There are no sick days when you have livestock depending on you, or there are crops to tend. Watching his example for all these years has inspired me to be all I can be and do whatever it takes to succeed.
The songs he samples help set the tone of the song to match the time period of his life that he reflects upon, therefore, simulating the emotions that he was feeling during that point of his life. The album in a whole, is about Cole realizing what makes him happy, not money or women, but rather family and love. That’s really the only point of the song where the themes of all the different songs come together pointing to the message that Cole wanted to prove all along, love. The story that J. Cole is telling is his own modern day journey to enlightenment, very different from his more aggressive counterpart, Kendrick
My mother and father differ in their skills, and characteristics they use towards me. I will forever be grateful for the aspects they both have instilled into me. Although my parents may be different, and do not agree on everything, they both love me unconditionally. Living in separate households, with parents who are like yin and yang has been a roller coaster of emotions. Together their different techniques have molded me into the man I have
Our parents work hard to get us where we are today. Due to the fact that my parents had lack of education and there English wasn 't that good they wasn’t able to get a job that was more relaxing. Though they work in company only they were able to earn enough to raise all of us. Through nurture, now that I’m older I don’t exactly see all the struggles that my parent had gone through to raise me, but I do see and understand more about the struggles. Their love for us, nothing can compare to it. Seeing what my parents had gone through and how hard they have work inspired me to work hard, go to school get a good job so in the future they can depend on me and just rest.
Everyone has that one person in their life has influenced to be who they are. Some weren’t meant to be looked up to, still somehow that person shaped them to be who they are today. It could be anyone, a friend, teacher, most of the time a parent. A parent that has influenced their child would be a hard parent, who disciplined and showed the real world to their kid, for what it really is. In hopes that their kid will survive the real world and pass on their knowledge to their kids and their children and so on.
There are times when you don’t know what to do or times when you might feel like you have no help in this world, but there is always that one person who never fails to give you the best advice in life, and that is your father. I have so much respect for any father out there that works hard, and always supports his family no matter what his imperfections might be. My father has got to be the best one in my opinion. He has been the biggest inspiration in my life because he taught me so much stuff in this life that I can’t find a way to pay him. He has been a very humble person and has never seen himself better than anyone else because he believes he is equal to any other father. In my opinion he is the best even though he says he isn’t. My father had imperfections just like any other human being in this world, yet he still taught me how to be a great person in this world by teaching me good morals. “Never Give Up, and believe in God and you will accomplish what you want in life” are words my father always tells me to remember.
My Mother - The Greatest Inspiration in My Life When asked who their hero is, most people respond with the name of an athlete or an actress/actor. When asked who my hero is, I would have to respond with a simple three letter word: mom. My mother has been the greatest inspiration in my life and is the main reason that I am where I am and who I am today. Born and raised in Richmond, Kentucky, I would like to introduce you to my mother, Vicki Grant. Currently the age of 47, Mom is the oldest of three girls.
Many of us have role models in our lives and to most people role models are athletes and movie stars, but to me a role model is much more. To me a role model is a person who has positively influenced someone in life, and is not a person filled with selfishness and greed. They help shape someone’s personality, and characteristics. They are people who someone can look up to for advice in a hard situation, and know that they will give those words of wisdom. They will never judge our past actions, instead only look to help because they really care. A role model is someone who we should never feel awkward talking to about our problems. A perfect role model for me is my mother. She is a wonderful human being. She’s smart, wise, ambitious, patient and such a loving person. There are no words that can describe my gratitude towards her, but through this essay I will describe some of her characteristics that makes her my role model.
They always told me to respect others no matter who they were, if I knew them or not, it 's a sign of respect from me and to the other person. It will show that I did grow up with a good education and it will also talk good about my parents. They always told me and kept reminding me that actions speak louder than words, to always show something that I was made of and not something that I 'm not. Hearing other people out, it shows your interests or even if you 're not, but try to show it because it 's showing respect to that person. Being respectful is a big part of me, I can never forget that, because if I want to be respected, I respect other people, to treat them the same way as I want to be treated, even if I think that I 'm not going to receive it back, and if I don 't, it shows that I 'm the bigger person. I guess that showing gratitude was one of the first thing that my parents showed me when I was younger, I always remember when I would receive something they would whisper in my ear or tell me to say "thank you" same thing if I wanted something, to say "please". To respect myself and not let others take
