At the beginning my brother and i got into a fight about something. He got really mad at me and started yelling at me and hitting me. Troy my brother he pushed me down the stairs, when he did I flew down the stairs and i hit my head on the door and i had a sucker in my mouth I could feel the bump on my head and I could hear me hit my head. Mom and dad come freaking out and mom asked “what happen” “Troy pushed me down the stairs” I cried trying to tell mom and dad. When he pushed me the day after I wanted to kick him and hit him so hard he felt my pain. After I got done kicking and hitting him i would be grounded. I didn’t want to be in the same room as him. I was so mad at him and I didn’t want to see him for a week. I was so mad
at him I didn’t even want to be in the same room at him. Then I had a big headache after that. My brother got yelled at and he got grounded for a week, when my brother got yelled at I could sight him starting to cry. My face was starting to get really red because how hard I was crying. I couldn’t really talk. When I was in my bed I was watching t.v. and I fell asleep. In the middle of the week mom and dad said “he should be grounded for another week because what he did.” I came in and reminded them “they said that it is only going to be only for a week” then they said “he is only six so he will be grounded for only a week.” “I commented “okay” After that day we were all good and it was a big happy family. We all played games and went to parks played hide and seek played tag. We had so much fun. Finally it has been a week so my brother was ungrounded so mom and dad got over being mad at him. So what i learned was to never fight with my brother by stairs or anything he can push u off or down.

The Hero’s Journey is a basic template utilized by writers everywhere. Joseph Campbell, an American scholar, analyzed an abundance of myths and literature and decided that almost all of them followed a template that has around twelve steps. He would call these steps the Hero’s Journey. The steps to the Hero’s Journey are a hero is born into ordinary circumstances, call to adventure/action, refusal of call, a push to go on the journey, aid by mentor, a crossing of the threshold, the hero is tested, defeat of a villain, possible prize, hero goes home. The Hero’s Journey is more or less the same journey every time. It is a circular pattern used in stories or myths.

It was plain to me that Darry didn't want me around. And I wouldn't stay if he did. He wasn't ever going to hit me again.
I pushed him on the couch and tried to hit his face and pull his hair but because I had the body of a 5th grader, all he had to do was was roll over and I fell on the ground. I started crying and I ran upstairs to my room; I was sick and tired of people calling my sister crazy. I knew she wasn’t but I didn’t understand why other people thought she was. Hser walked into my room and sat next to me.
He beat me until I swung back and forth by my wrists, half-crazy with pain, unable to find my footi...

In the story Adam finds out from his father that Adam is not his real name and that they are all living a lie. Adam’s father used to be a reporter in New York and he discovered information that can get him and his family killed. So Mr. Grey, the family’s protector, gave Adam’s family all new names, occupation, and lives. All this happened when Adam was three years old. Then one day Mr. Grey contacted his father saying that his family was being targeted and advised him to get away for a couple of days until it was over. They decided to go up North to Vermont. They were riding in the car the whole family singing the Father in the Dell. Then they stopped to see the beautiful view of the mountains. Then all of a sudden they hear a car coming at them and hits all three of them. Adam is still conscious when he hits the floor and all he sees next to him is his mom. His mother’s limb’s are sticking out unnaturally and all he sees are his mother’s glassy eyes staring at him, lifeless. He is losing consciousness, but he sees a blur of gray and hears someone say that his father was gone and that they need to find him fast. Adam is telling all this to Brint and he sings the last part of the Father in the Dell song to

Over the last thirty years, the idea of children as witnesses and the accuracy of their testimony has been widely debated. People are asking themselves if the memories of young children, specifically between the ages of five and ten, can be accurate and in return trusted. So, can children’s memory and testimony be accurate? Prolific amounts of research have been conducted in an attempt to answer this question. Most of the research suggests that unfortunately we can not rely on their accurate recall in testimony. I would have to say I agree with the findings.

I'd clean when you wouldn't ask me to, I'd work as best as I could on my math problems even as you shouted and hit me for being so stupid. Even if I got good grades, if I had the highest reading and writing scores in the school, if I drew a good picture or tried my hardest to stay out of trouble, it was never enough. I was never enough. Every mistake I made, every fault and flaw you pounced on and slapped me with it.
