My Future Self

When I stumble upon a time machine, I cannot wait to travel to the future and see what I have become. After some overall estimate, I decided to travel 40 years into the future. I really wasn’t sure what my 53 years old self-have become.

I was transported to the year 2047. My location was still the same. Before I even have time contemplate on how to find my future-self, a pod, seemingly from science fiction, appeared in front of me. My immense level of curiosity pushed to enter the pod. I soon as I entered, a voice boom from an invincible speak, it asks me “where do you want to go”. Under the result I learned I am currently a federal judge in New York state and various background information, but I am not sure whether I should trust it. After telling the address to the pod, it instantly transports me to a tall building in NYC. I then entered the building to find my future-self. When I entered my future-self's office, I noticed endless bookshelf stretching around the room. Then did I notice my future-self, seemingly buried in the piles of books and files on the desk. She smiled apologetically to me, “ I was expecting you, and well I tried to tidy it up, but a last minute case came this morning.” I was shocked at how she can know I am coming, but then I reminded myself she is me; my adventure it's her memory.
