My progress this nine weeks has been exceptional in a positive way due to the amount of time I have to my work. My goal for a final grade was a 90% or higher. Although I’m currently resting a 96 I have a final and some participation grades that will be put in the grade book soon. Therefore I have a good chance at making my final grade goal. The amount of things I have learned in technology and photoshop are increasing as this class carries on. One of the main things that I am happy I learned in this class are “Hot Keys” hot keys give so many shortcuts in doing things on any aspect of the computer. Although one of the things I would like to learn in this class is how to video edit. Maybe do a VideoShop instead of Photoshop for a few weeks?
As many people have told me before, it is a very different ballgame than middle school’s easy going years. There is much more work, the classes are harder, and the environment is completely different. Many people’s grades may slip and they may cower in fear at the barrage of assignments they receive class after class. Unlike other people, I am confident in my ability to excel at all classes and to sustain exemplary grades. Therefore, while many are trembling in fear at the prodigious assignments and work is bombarding them from all angles, I will be at ease, knowing that whatever obstacle is thrown my way, I will conquer it and be its own

Health care in America tends to be a gray area for citizens without prior experience with medical issues. Michael Moore an American filmmaker discusses in his documentary “Sicko” the unpleasant experience some Americans had to go through because of our health care system. Moore implements humor to his documentary by inserting comical music, images, and narration in spots that help his argument gain attention. He also travels abroad to places like Canada, France, and Cuba, where universal health care is supported. He does this in order to provide reason why universal health care is a good ideas by capturing the different emotions and opinions of individuals in those countries versus what people think in America. In addition, Moore provides evidence on why the United States should adopt a different health care system by providing facts like the life expectancy and cost of health care in America compared to other countries. Michael Moore’s main goal is to inform the audience as well as introduce his argument that our health care system is inadequate and that better solutions are out there like universal health care.
The 1960s was a period well remembered for all the civil rights movements that occurred during that time frame and the impact these movements had on the social and political dynamics of the United States. The three largest movements that were striving in the 1960s were the African American civil rights movement, the New Left movement and the feminist movement. These three movements were in a lot of ways influenced by each other and were very similar in terms of their goals and strategies. However, within each of these movements there were divisions in the way they tried to approach the issues they were fighting against. Looking at each of these movements individually will reveal the relationship they all share as well as the changes that were brought forth as a result of each groups actions.
In the early 1870s Andrew Carnegie became the largest steel producer in the nation and one of the richest men in America. According to lecture 3, Andrew Carnegie had few regulations, which made him a wealthy and dominant force in the U.S. Carnegie’s steel mill was located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Carnegie forces his worker to work a twelve-hour workday. The steel workers wanted to work in a better work environment; they organized a steel worker’s union.
I believe I deserve this grade as the effort and progress of work I achieved is equivalent to Credit grade and most of the tasks have been done very well.
Grades, are a way to show how a student’s effort and work processes. They track progress, they reflect the quality of work the students can achieve. I, have learned a lot of new things this first year of the career center about Photoshop, even though I have used Photoshop before in the past. I believe that I’ve gained a 87 as a grade for Graphics Design class. I have always been here to class, mostly on time, and have an excellent attendance. Occasionally, late in the past and missed one or two days. But, most of the time I’m here and ready to learn for the everyday.
Roles for women in society have changed from century to century. There were centuries were women were put on a pedestal and were expected to obey their husband and if not they had to other means to provided for themselves, or more like the present century were women are just as equal as men and are independent as ever. There is a author by the name of Kate Chopin who lived in the times were women were expected to obey their husbands but had the mindset of a time, more like the present, were women could be more independent.
...ach day in class I participated to my fullest extent answering questions, maintaining eye contact, and staying attentive and alert during class each day. I stayed after class to arrange meetings with all three of my essays and showed up early each time. In which I read over comments made before hand and digested them myself and walked in with an idea on how to make my paper better, answer questions you may have had towards my paper, and had questions on what I could do to make my paper better. While my work in the class my not have reflected an A I feel my time and participation are well on the track to excellence in the world of academic writing. “Once a person is determined to help themselves, there is nothing that can stop them.” (Nelson Mandela) I am determined to hone my skills of writing and make an impact where ever I grace the strokes of a pen or keyboard.
... am to get a halfway decent grade. So, I started it up and felt confident that I was going to get it done.
I am a year thirteen student at Eirias High School and I am currently studying four A levels; English Language, Applied Science, Geography and the Welsh Baccalaureate. I am confident and bale to carry out and complete tasks on time or to a deadline. This has helped me in my subjects because both Applied Science and the Welsh Baccalaureate contain a lot of coursework and deadlines that need to be met.

I believe that I deserve a B preferably an A because I believe that I did good this semester. As a junior this semester was very challenging for me. But I kept going with hard work and some dedication. One of my biggest struggles this semester was Math 170. Math has always been my downfall but I always try to get it. But this semester it just didn’t happen. But I can say that I did try, actually I tried really hard to get my work done. I also have a problem with procrastination, that’s something I really need to work on. If I didn’t learn anything this semester I learned that unasked questions don’t get answered. I feel as though I should have come to you more often for questions because I know that I didn’t understand the material. I learned my lesson and that will never happen again. Also, even though I didn’t get majority of it I still tried; I should get some credit for that. I took the first part of this final and got a 93, perhaps that could be my final grade right there. Despite taking 17 credits this semester, along with being a Resident Assistant, I have managed to complete all of the assignments for this class. Though I didn’t ace each and every assignment I did manage to complete or attempt them. So far I’ve had a lot of good grades in my other classes, and once again I can say Math 170 was the most challenging. I believe that I deserve a B preferably an A because I always try to do my best in everything in school, because school is important and my future depends on what I do now in school, and the grades I get are very important. When we had class I always took notes, and never been afraid to ask questions when need be. All of my professors told me that I’m a good student and that I’m going to be very s...
It is hard to believe that one-eighth of my bachelor’s degree is coming to a close. Fortunately it can be said that these past 15 weeks were not at a loss for growth. In my objective opinion, I have grown intellectually, psychologically, socially and professionally, allowing me to become an overall better individual and student here at Marywood University.
Another things is that when I understood I may be not as intelligent as the pupils at the top, I made a decision to insist on the preparation, careful listen, timely review, and doing immense exercise for the class content during the whole semester in 2013. Sometimes, I was so tired under this high-intensity study and enormous pressure day by day that the idea to stop flashed across my mind. Fortunately, I thought it was a pity to give up halfway and made it. Ultimately, I ranked 3 from 500 among 1500, the amount of the whole grade. There is one spirit that practice makes perfect, which inspires me to be a better self physically and mentally. I still persist in running every day, and gradually realize that perseverance has become a principle which guides me to do everything. God helps those who help themselves. Only when you devote yourself to what you actually intend, can you achieve your
