My dream place would be a house on a Galapagos Island. My land will be located on the Isabella Island. It will be nice and relaxing because it has a constant weather all that time, perfect environment. Also I will have a nice 2 floor cabin. The cabins will look like the ones that you see in forest. My whole family will live there after I am 75. But before that I will spend my time gathering all the money to buy a piece of land, a plane, a boat, and some vegetable seed (lot of them). I want my dream place to be nice and relaxing where you can enjoy the environment and very peaceful weather. Since I am a vegetarian, I will own a farm with couple of horses, cows, chickens, couple of healthy, fully trained by me dogs, and the lands will be about 17 acres. The horses and the cows will have 15 flat acres of land. In this specific area, it will have a beautiful lake that surrounds 0.13 acres of land where there will be an oak tree. It will be a home to all the ducks, swan, and flamingos. And on this lake there will be couple of different types of fountains. Surrounding the lake will be s...
On April 15, 1897, Rt. Honorable Herbert Bentwich leads a group of twenty-one Zionists aboard a small steamer headed for Jaffa: the gentleman is no other than Ari Shavit's great-grandfather. The Oxus delegation is mainly composed by upper-middle-class educated British Jews, expected to report their impressions about the ancient land of Israel to Theodor Herzl, the founder of political Zionism.
All of this got me thinking that by this summer I may not be in the islands, but I can let my imaginations take me to my imaginary destination and when I do I will just lay on the grass and close my eyes as I face the sky and let the breeze hit my skin and just dream as I am back home. As I dream I am to rest on a beach with my family until dawn and see the beautiful colors in the sky and live a soulful life without having too think about any
I heard the patter of the water droplets hitting the fibreglass roof as I pirouetted across the polished wooden floorboards, where I felt I was instantly home. The dance studio had become as much a sanctuary to me as the confined classrooms at the local high school. Ever since my mother had died and I had been forced to live with my father; I had simply thrown myself, body and soul into my work and my dancing; my sole reasons for life. As I spun around I shut off all feeling except the chill on my neck from the cool air brushing rapidly past.
The fleeting changes that often accompany seasonal transition are especially exasperated in a child’s mind, most notably when the cool crisp winds of fall signal the summer’s end approaching. The lazy routine I had adopted over several months spent frolicking in the cool blue chlorine soaked waters of my family’s bungalow colony pool gave way to changes far beyond the weather and textbooks. As the surrounding foliage changed in anticipation of colder months, so did my family. My mother’s stomach grew larger as she approached the final days of her pregnancy and in the closing hours of my eight’ summer my mother gently awoke me from the uncomfortable sleep of a long car ride to inform of a wonderful surprise. No longer would we be returning to the four-story walk up I inhabited for the majority of my young life. Instead of the pavement surrounding my former building, the final turn of our seemingly endless journey revealed the sprawling grass expanse of a baseball field directly across from an unfamiliar driveway sloping in front of the red brick walls that eventually came to be know as home.
...ming I will be willing to contribute in any way that I can, and becoming a vegetarian will help the environment a great deal. Becoming a vegetarian can also lead to becoming a healthier person and living a healthy lifestyle. And lastly, the way animals are killed and treated in factory farms are unethical and they should not be treated the way they are just to create a meal for the next person.Consider that the animal you are eating was a vegetarian and the meat contains all the minerals and vitamins of the plant foods it ate when you eat it. Along with fats yourbody needs in substantial amounts to stay healthy.....more on the fats later. Meat is as close to a complete meal as you can get because of this.
It was my dream to always own my own home. My wife and I set out to purchase a house on our own. In our process of trying to be first-time homeowners, we looked at so many houses until we were about ready to say maybe now is not the time. One day we were out driving not really looking and stumbled upon a house which we thought would be our home. We got the information we needed and made the call to see the house. The house was a newly built house with all the amenities my wife wanted. Not knowing the ends and the outs of purchasing a house, we thought that it could not be that hard. We went all in for this house, our house. The builder/realtor was not willing to negotiate the asking price of the house. We were even expected to pay closing cost. The contract included a lot of costs which we also found out were non-negotiable. Had we been represented by a agent, things may have gone a little differently. We were then told that there was another contract on the house and it would be taken. We lost the house we considered or thought would be our home.
My biggest dream of all is to be remembered. I want to touch people in such a way that they will never forget who I am. I want them to tell their grandchildren stories about me and for them to tell their grandchildren and so on. That way, I’ll still be alive years after I actually die. However, this will be very difficult.
place I would have to go to before and after school. I have always loved my
the dream of a natural paradise. Located on the ceiling of a large, white gazebo in the middle of the park the lakeside scene creates a dramatic effect differing from its surrounding atmosphere. While the dictionary provides the definition of Arcadia in its most simplest form, McClung has defined it in a more comple...
If I were to live anywhere in the world, I would live on the island of Jamaica. I would live on the island of Jamaica because, the the ocean their is warm and clear and I like the warmer air their. I really would like to try something different and really like to smell the fresh ocean water and to sit, and to play on the sand. I always wanted a beach house that has an ocean view because I love seeing the waves crash, I also like seeing the surfers riding the big waves that can knock you down. When I am at the beach, I usually like to be in the ocean water for most of the day, but I occasionally like to take breaks from the water so I can have some food for when I’m hungry, or I would make sandcastle’s in the yellow sand. I sometimes like to
A white, fluffy snow covers the Colorado peaks like a fuzzy, thick blanket. The snow is like a big overstuffed pillow ripped apart, spilling white cotton over everything. It is snow so fluffy that when laid down on it makes one believe that they are in heaven, floating around the sky on a feathery cloud. The mountains look like a picture out of National Geographic. There is not one sign of human disturbance anywhere.
Do you ever wonder why certain places mean so much to certain people? When I think of my bedroom, I realize why some people are touchy about who goes in their room or who has been touching things in their home, it is because those things are important to them and may have some meaning. Places like my bedroom are places where we can relax and be comfortable and I think that is why it is important to people, because we can be ourselves and feel comfortable, we can also just sit down and rest our bones and relax. Another important reason is we can go there when we want privacy, we can just shut our door, maybe even lock it, and tell everyone in our household not to bother us. Also our rooms hold most of our personal belongings and those things are important to us and we do not want anyone else to touch them or in some cases go near them.
The city I propose as a perfect city, would be as close to an ecocity as possible, although have some differences. For example, for electrical needs, I would suggest the city have a solar power plant, but on those desperate times, energy would be bought from other electrical plants from nearby towns or states.
My favorite place as a child was County Park Lake. When we had family picnics because we all got together and there was great food and kids playing and the adults playing horse-shoes and could tell there was love for one another. There was no other place like this when I was a child. Some of my fondest memories was at that picnic site we should all have memories likes those.
I haven't started that has to be in by tomorrow. So where do I go?
