My family goes to Disney World at least every four years. Disney, being my family’s go-to destination for vacation, is always packed with tourist from all over the world and is always has humid weather conditions. Sometimes I wonder why we go since we have obviously out grown the amusement park age group. Despite out growing Disney World, many memories have been made from all the trips to Disney World. From walking through rain back to the monorail stations to posing with Belle from Beauty and the Beast at a character dining restaurant. From all the memories made at Disney World, the most vivid thing I can remember is when I lost my family in a sea of people in the Magic Kingdom for less than a minute.
It is my family’s fourth time going to

The theme park overflows with people running around outside the entrance trying to get through the bag checks and tickets check areas. Once we make it past the entrance, the red pavement is lit dimly by the nineteen forties street lamps and the scent of cookies pump out onto Main Street. Now the race really begins to find the best spot in the whole park. I hold onto my mother’s backpack, desperately trying to stay close as we maneuver through the endless crowd, inching closer to the Cinderella castle with every step. In order to be comfortable during the firework and animation show visitors have to find a spot to sit at least forty five minutes before the show. We arrive 10 minutes before the fireworks start and believe that we can find a spot in the packed courtyard. We prepare ourselves to scan all the lawn areas surrounding the castle just in case there is one small patch of grass free. Finally we arrive at the opening to the large courtyard before the castle. Everywhere I look cast members are directing traffic flow of people in order to make the chaos more manageable. On one side of the court yard a cast member yells “This way sir!” to my father while three other worker yell the same exact thing to other families. Being rushed by four people at once to go four different directions has a chance of being problematic. I was standing in front of my family on the right side …show more content…
From the excitement of being able to watch one firework show after the other to being panicked by all the commotion and relief beyond anything I have ever experienced. All that I have gained from this experience is to always let your parents
Disney World is a magical and fun place for a family of four. The sound of excitement filling the air, kids jumping and dancing around waiting to start their day at Disney. But as we know going to Disney is not as easy as it sounds. You need to budget your way to get to Disney World. Saving and planning is your first priority. How are you going to get there and where are you going to stay when you get down to Florida. Most important of all, well to the kids, the Disney Park, and which ones to go to. Wanting to go to and actually going to Disney World is two different things.
When I think back to my trip to Disney World, the biggest thing I remember isn’t the Mickey Mouse hats, the amazing castle, or the princesses. It was our map with all the bathrooms circled in red. The constant waiting for my mom so I could go ride the spinning teacups or Space Mountain. I used to get angry that my family always had to wait for her, but now I understand. It wasn’t her fault, it was her disease.
We went back to our room after we finished at Epcot. It had gotten up to ninety degrees outside, and we were exhausted. It was a thrilling experience to see all my favorite places again in Epcot. I can’t wait to come back and relive this experience again. This place is something I will never forget.
Disney World is an educational wonderland. Disney World was founded October 1, 1971 by Roy O. Disney and Walt Disney. It wasn’t even thought of until four years after the first park Disneyland was opened in Anaheim, California. Walt Disney productions began looking for land for a second park and eventually found the perfect spot. Disney World is an entertainment complex in Orlando, Florida with four distinctly themed amusement parks, two water parks, and over ten resorts. According to Disney’s millions of guest, it is the master of “edu-tainment,” a way of entertaining and educating guest at the same time. Disney has a large selection of ways to “edu-tain” its guest. Its history, science, and animal exhibits are just a few ways children will learn while having fun. A Disney vacation teaches children new information and reinforces what children are currently learning in school. Disney world has many educational opportunities at its three parks, Magic kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot.
If a girl was going to search for her Prince Charming, the first place she should look is in the world of animation. Animation has probably been around since the beginning of time. Although, the artwork that originally resembled animation was only one or two cels, animation today is made up of hundreds or thousands of cels.
Public Spaces provide unique experiences and contribute to the identity of a city. Found as places like plazas, parks, marketplaces, within buildings, lobbies and many more. Public spaces are important to our society and therefore face more arguments in design and construction compared to private spaces.
Everyone who has ever been to Disney World thinks it’s going to be the vacation of a lifetime but when we went it was the vacation from Hell!
The Wonderful World of Disney When people think of Mickey Mouse, people visualize Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and all of his friends. They probably think about the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. Without Mickey and Disneyland, the entertainment industry would not be where it is today. The man who brought Mickey to life was Walt Disney. Many people might think of Walt as the luckiest guy in the world with the greatest life, but his story is anything but great by far.
Ever think a crazy mob of vacationers would storm the gates of an amusement park, stampede your family, and crush your dreams of getting to the ride you most wanted to get on. Yeah, neither did I, but I guess I was wrong! Here are a few ways to survive Disney. To begin, when out of control thrill riders swarm the entrance of the park, before it even opens, and start yelling, “The new ride is to the left” you and your crew head to the right. We came prepared and our family preordered a park map and had a shortcut to Disney’s newest ride. However, this shortcut was not for the weak and we were in for some serious cardio if we wanted to beat the swarm. Next, when Disney throws an obstacle at you like their Good Morning Parade featuring Safari Mickey, Minnie, and Donald you know it’s time to get creative. Luckily, my family knows Disney like the back of their hand, so cutting through the gift shops seemed fitting. Yes, this was a detour but only meant we needed to step it up. Time
For example, there are no sightings of skyscrapers, motels, or any kind of city structure, in the Magic Kingdom. Walt Disney’s goal for his first theme park, as well as all of the others, is to not be able to see the nearby city. Walt Disney really wanted to transport guests into a different world. In this world, there are no real world issues occurring and the guests would be safe. The real world is absent, and does not protrude into the traditional family vacation. My father, does not get any calls from work, so this is his time to talk and enjoy quality family time. Family time is very difficult to obtain, due to work and school schedules. Each day we are in and out of the door, and really stay busy until it is time for bed. The solution is the trips to Walt Disney World as these can be seen as aides to create a place to be a family and enjoy one
When anyone asks me, “Where is your favorite vacation spot and why?” I always reply with Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, because I have so many family memories there. I have been to Disney World eight times, and I have enjoyed each trip tremendously. I have decided to interview my mother, Shellie Smith via Skype. Shellie has been to Disney World twelve times.
So, when guests walk into the park, the first thing they would witness is the Sleeping Beauty’s castle that brought them through Main Street to the rest of the park (George Lipsitz, 2002). Furthermore, the gates to each “land” in Disneyland represents a portal to another world within the same park. The details that Disney put into his park was what made Disneyland stand out from other attractions in the US in general. The park become a success and an inspiration to many families from all over the world, having catered up to a quarter of the US population by 1965 (George Lipsitz, 2002). Today, Disneyland has helped shape the image of California so that people from all over could imagine a place that is full of sunshine and wholesome family fun. Whenever people visit the state from wherever, Disneyland is one of the few places that they could envision during their entire
In the summer of 2015, my grandparents decided to take the whole entire family on a Disney Cruise. They picked a twelve day cruise that would have stops in Germany, Sweden, Russia, and others. This would be the first time that my whole family would be together all at once since I was around the age of four. Since it was a European cruise, this meant that we were docking out of Dover. My parents, my sister, and I all lived in California at the time and chose to go early to explore England whereas everyone else stayed in Colorado until departing date of the cruise ship.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
My most memorable family vacation took place two years ago. We went to Corsica, a French island situated in the south of France right next to Italy. I remembered waking up early excited to visit this new land. Used to take long flights, I was surprised to arrive to the destination after a one-hour flight. Even though the flight was short for me, it was stressful for my mom, she has never felt secured in a plane, probably due to the fact that she is afraid of height. When finally arrived at the destination, the dry and warm weather was there to welcome us. We all felt relief, and knew that this was the beginning of the summer. Excited, we had a lot of activities planned for the few weeks, me and my father could not wait to dive in the clear
