We are all hit with the question of, What career choice are you going to make after you graduate? Half of us have no idea what career path we want to take. The other half already has everything planned out. After research and countless nights of thinking and self-talk, I know what career path I want to follow. Not just any regular hairstyle but exotic and unique styles also. Many people are not aware of the people hairstylist encounter, the places they travel to or the things they see or experience Being a Cosmetologist can be a very interesting job. You can use hair to express yourself, make yourself stand out. Clients come in with a blurred vision of what they want his/her hair to look like. You can add your little unique touch and skills to fit the interest of the client while satisfying the hairs needs. Everyone starts off not knowing where the career field could take them. However, there is a lot of room for advancement in this career. Once I become an established stylist I can start providing class and trainings for other individuals at a cost. I have the opportunity for my name to get big in the industry. With this, I could have clients from other states book me to do their hair. I could also become a part of events like the Bronner Bro’s International Beauty Show in Atlanta. All of this would open opportunities and new experiences for me. If my skills are up to par and I am lucky enough I could end up doing a celebrity’s hair like Cliff Vmir. Cliff Vmir is a 20-year-old celebrity stylist who made 2 million dollars by doing Joselyn and Cardi B’s hair. There is a lot of money to be made in this industry if I put in the work and

Going into the field of Cosmetology helps you express yourself and it brings out your inner creativity. That is one of the many reason I love this line of work, because when I do hair it lets me express myself while creating a hairstyle of my own. The first time I started doing hair was when I was about 10 or 11, I was a natural! I want to be able to know my clients and exactly what will look right on my clients and read people, so I would know what they do like just by talking to them.
