My Career Choice
After doing extensive research on careers, I believe the perfect field
for me would be the medical field. A few reasons why I am working on becoming
a Register Nurse are: helping others, challenging, schedule, salary, easy job
finding, respected and rewarding. By helping others in need as part of your
everyday duties can become rewarding at the end of the day. Knowing that
you made a difference in someone’s life could lead to a very fulfilling life

My second career choice would be a police officer. I picked this job
because it interests me the most even though this is not the best time to be
wearing a uniform. Even with all that is going on in going on America at this
time I still believe that working in law enforcement would be a great option
for a second career. Police officers have a lot of authority in society and
they are very important people for enforcing the law and providing a sense
of security. If I were a police officer I would be excited every day to put on
my uniform to go to work. People depend on police officers to protect their lives and property. In
most jurisdictions, they are expected to exercise authority when necessary
whether on or off duty. Police regularly patrol and respond to calls for
service. They may direct traffic at the scene of a fire, investigate a burglary,
or give first aid to an accident victim. While on patrol, officers attempt to become thoroughly familiar with
their patrol area and remain alert for anything unusual. Suspicious
circumstances and hazards to public safety are investigated or noted,

The number of jobs is estimated to grow 36% from 2012-2022. This job of physical therapy involves many and very important tasks to fulfill the needs of their patients. It requires many different educational requirements and you must have strong people skills.
As a young girl I always knew that in my future I would go into a career that consisted of helping others. I also knew that I wanted to have a career in the medical field. When I put the two together and after researching different careers in the medical field, I knew being a physician’s assistant was the best fit for me. Not only would I be able to work helping others but I would be in the field that in my eyes is the best field to be in.
I want to be a nurse, specifically a nurse practitioner. I have always been fascinated with the medical field and see a bright future in it for me. I have the opportunity of meeting new people every day with a variety of personalities. There is always something new to discover in this field. A nurse practitioner's job is to be able to diagnose and treat illnesses. They also prescribe medicine and run physical exams. I am highly interested in pursuing the career of a nurse practitioner because the healthcare field is always in need for medical professionals, it pays well, and I am helping people at the same time.
The career I chose is sports medicine. Sports medicine is a career based on helping those injured whether they are an athlete or a 23-year-old in a car accident. After doing some research on which career is best for me, I chose sports medicine because I have a fascination with helping those that may be hurt, out of shape, or in rehab and need to get back on their feet. Sports medicine has always been my dream job because it fills that desire for me to help those that are injured, allowing me to expand into different branches to provide assistance to those recovering; also providing an income that I will be able to live comfortably.
Being in the position where I am able to help people and make a difference in someone's life has been a goal of mine since elementary school. Within the medical field, I figured I could achieve this. I have looked into many different options that the medical field has to offer. Something about nursing just stuck out to me, but I knew I wanted something a little bit higher than just being a nurse. This is why the number one career that I want to pursue is as a Registered Nurse.
Life goes on as well as we moving on, in order to live a happy life, money, passion, happiness and the meaning of it are essential keys. Among thousands of jobs and over billions of people, having a career or achieving a job is not only important but also competitive. Therefore, deciding what you are going to become has always been the toughest decision in life. I am not talking about Mozart, who was born to play and compose music, or Cristiano Ronaldo who decided to pursue for his career as a football player at the age of 14. I am talking about me and my just-found-out-career in a couple hours earlier, Nursing.
To work in the medical field has always been a dream of mine since I was a young girl but it was not until recently that I decided between pediatrics, OBGYN, and becoming an ultrasound technician because I have always loved children and each of these occupations involve children. Growing up everyone wanted to become a doctor or a nurse and as a little child being a doctor or a nurse was a profession many parents wanted their child to pursue as a career. Needless to say, I fell into that category because I had high hopes that one day I will become a nurse. However, that dream came to a halt.

I chose this career because my mother is an rn and my family has a strong presence in the medical field. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills, or talents needed, salary, benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this decision.

Health care would be a great career option for almost anyone because one can help a multitude of different people. Health care includes many well paying jobs and the field is growing rapidly, so job security is promising. Not choosing health careers would be a missed opportunity because there are many promising benefits in the field.
Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person has to make in their life. It is so important because that is what we will have to do to support ourselves throughout life. Imagine being stuck in a dead end job and having to go to work every morning and dreading it. That is no spending oneÕs time and life is too short to work 35 years and be unhappy with it. If a person likes the job they do then it is not work, because finding satisfaction out of a job can bring great happiness. That information has enabled me to make the decision of choosing my area of study and career in the field of Information Technology.
Life contains an unlimited amount of life lessons; my main life lesson has inspired me to never give up on myself or my goals. Through my life experiences I have learned that there is no such thing as failure. I am certain with myself that I can find success through hard work and dedication. My career aspiration is to help others as a healthcare professional. More specifically, I have a dream of pursuing a career in physical therapy. Nothing gives me more self-satisfaction than to see that I am able to help people self-improve. Therefore, I have committed to studying and preparing myself for graduate school. I am currently an Undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida, destined to graduate in the Fall of 2017. There are multiple Undergraduate degree paths I can take to prepare myself for grad-school; however, I chose a path that can help me develop skills to provide the best possible service for my future patients. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences
