Her. My best friend, my un-biological sister, the calmness of my drama. She has many titles to her name, well from me at least. But unfortunately bad friend is one of them. It all started last year. Our first year in a new school. Our first year in middle school. I can just remember about how we were wishing things wouldn’t change. But they did. This past year my very best friend has treated me like dirt. I was not the wind beneath her wings, but the dirt beneath her feet. She has treated me like a no one. She has pointed out my flaws, order me around like a slave, embarrassed me to a point of no return. Yes my parents know about it, and even some friends too but they do not confront her because they are waiting on someone, waiting on me. I have not told this problem to her yet because ...

...think about her and tries to act exactly like they want her to. It is as if she is like glass; you have to be very careful about what you say to her, because she could break and fall to pieces at any moment. Degrading remarks, time and time again, often leave people with a broken backbone, a shattered self-esteem. This part of them, the part that makes them believe in themselves, usually never heals to the fullest.
I was just getting back from an extremely fun vacation with my family when this all started. I was close to my friend’s aunt, Brenda. I’ve known her for about 6 years. We have all made great memories together. However, everything changed, for the worse. I’m not sure what inspired her hate for me, but it happened fast. I was confused and distraught about the situation. It only became worse when my friend told me Brenda was hateful towards me. Also, Brenda was calling me particularly offensive names. This only made me feel worse. Regrettably, the situation was getting worse, and I wasn’t doing anything about it, until now. Now, I was courageous and brave. I decided to fight against the pain instead of running away. I know myself, and I know I’m not a horrible person because one person hates me. I tell myself what she says doesn’t matter and isn’t true. To completely overcome this situation, I took matters into my hands. I cut her out of my life. This took a plethora of bravery. I was terrified to do it, but I did. Gratefully, it made me feel like my own hero. Now, it’s simply a
In 5th grade I had a great friend group, with the 4 of us it was fun. Not after long, another girl wants to join our group. I didn't really like her that much but I wasn't the type of person to exclude. After a few days I got to know her better, and I hated her guts. She came in and took control of our group! I was less and less involved with my best friends. I told her how I felt like she was stealing me away from my friends and she said she didn't mean to make me feel that way.
There are a lot of synonyms for the word best friend. Some of the many include soulmate, companion, ride-or-die, sister/brother, husband/wife, and that does not even begin to cover it. The term is so broad with a vague definition, but has a strong meaning to almost everyone. Most people that are asked have someone they consider to be their best friend in some form, either a friend or a spouse. Often times these two people have gone through so much with each other, the good and the bad. These people are so important to everyday life because they help to reach important needs, they help people to discover themselves, and they help to maintain healthy aging.
They fought with us for the boy we both liked in high school, and this caused to a cat-fight and friendship to end. Childhood friend, Mary, she had our backs and knew our most daring secrets but after she saw a better friend who gave tickets her to see her favorite band, she forgot all about us. The best friend that moved away to the United States with her whole family leaving our heart broken. In addition, Felicia, the hyperactive girl that was in kindergarten with us, who used to share all her food went to a different middle school and the friendship drifted
I don’t know where I would be without my best friend. The person who keeps me sane when my family is driving me crazy, or the person who will stay up with me all night to support me when I have a last minute paper due in a class; I don’t know where I would be without that support. I found this support in my best friend, my sister from another father, Regina. Regina is an eccentric, overbearing, lover of all things natural type of girl. She lives life to the fullest and never backs down from a challenge. She is funny, full of whit and sharper than a tack fresh out of the box. Although it hasn’t always been a smooth road for us we still remain friends to this day.
She doesn’t know this, but she changed my life. She was there for me when it seemed like no one else was. When most of my friends were dissolving around me and I just didn’t feel like I could do anything right, she was there, and she made everything seem okay. It didn’t matter that I was inevitably going to graduate with a GPA a tenth of a point lower than I wanted, or that my director told me that he was disappointed in me because I just didn’t seem focused lately, or that my other friends just weren’t talking to me anymore. It didn’t matter because she was there and she made me feel safe. She’s my best friend, and I love her and admire her for so many different reasons.
In conclusion, this had been one of the epiphany’s that I experienced that changed my life for the better. Realizing my best friend was bad and influencing me to do bad things was not what I had wanted in a friendship. Like I said, the result of it almost came down to me getting sent away for doing what I was doing. A best friend will not only stick by you, but they will accept you no matter what you want in life. Never trust someone that tries to make you do harmful things. If a slight idea comes across that a best friend is being bogus, think it all through and find out before it goes way too far, and causes a negative impact on life.
Everyone needs a best friend in her lifetime. She needs somebody that she can trust and go to with her problems. A best friend should be there for you all the time, no matter what the situation may be. In my case, I have known my best friend for my entire life. My best friend happens to be my younger sister, Brittany. She is only thirteen months younger than I am, so we are very close. Having Brittany as my best friend has made me into the person I am today. She has taught me how to trust people, how to resolve my problems, and how to open up and express my feelings.
I had a different best friend almost every year during my childhood. I met my best friend when I was 3. I moved into a new house and met Crista the first day that I moved in. When she was in fourth grade her family decided to move. During this time, she had been the main person that I hung out with, so this was a huge change fore me. So I spent basically a year and a half with very few friends. I moved to a new school half way through sixth grade. I didn’t ever find a real place there. I met my best friend Stacey when I first moved to my new middle school. We stayed friends throughout middle school, but she had a lot of family problems and she ended dup moving away and I didn’t even know she was leaving until after she was gone. In a time like middle school for something like that happen is awful. I got depressed after that happened and I ...
A friend is someone difficult to find. A friend is someone you can always count on when times are tough. The dictionary's definition of a good friend is a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard. A good friend is there when you are struggling. For example, when a boy breaks your heart a good friend walks you through it and offers a shoulder to cry on. According to Bree Neff, a good friend is someone who is trustworthy, doesn't talk behind your back, listens to your problems, gives good advice and tries to lend humor along with his or her support. There are also bad friends, those who pretend to care and then turn around gossiping and starting drama. Good and bad friends are all around you, involved in your everyday life. To find good friends you should look for such traits as being kind, trustworthy, loyal and dependable.
Good friends are wonderful. They're there to support you and to help you. They make you laugh and feel good. I'm lucky, I have three very good friends. Sure, I have lots of other friends. But these three people, I would take a bullet for.
Life is strange. I never thought that I would consider my one time enemy, my "best" friend. The first time I met my best friend was in the sixth grade. We both played on the same youth basketball team. We were both arrogant and bratty kids, who thought that the world revolved around us. With that much personality, problems were bound to happen. We made fun of each other and occasionally got into scuffles. Fortunately like all humans, we grew up and found a common bond that grew into a friendship.
... some time off from school to get her mind right. Or, like my other best friend Andrea. Me and her are like peas and rice. It just seems that all the things that she experiences are things that I'm going through now, or that have already happened to me. Like many girls, she has issues with her boyfriend. But I believe, with my support, she has learned to deal with it, and I believe that she has such a great handle on it. My friends have told me that I am very understanding and supportive, and I believe that those two words couldn't describe me any better.
