From one job to the next, the music industry would not be the same without the individuals who fulfill these titles. A music publisher’s job is to guarantee that profits are made and collected when a songwriter’s work is used commercially. A publisher’s job warrants them to create a publishing contract which entails copyrighting. Without the hard work that music publisher put in, songwriters and composers would not make any money off of their hard work.
