Music can make you discover things you never knew before. Music to me is like a second home where I can express emotions toward a situation that is in my way. You can listen to any genre of music and at the end of the obstacle it would be overcome by a solution that is right for you. Music can give you an important memory that you would never forget because it means alot to you. Music can be a part of important event in your life that would me so much to you and the people surrounding you. Music grows with you in any way shape way or form. I personal love romantic music with obstacles that come and they overcome it with their love. Also rapping is a way to express your feelings which i love. Music is all over the world. Many artist today use music to describe obstacles they face in their life and people surrounding them. You can find similarities between the artist and you expressing what you feel and how it can be possibly changed. Society has been changing a lot on the way they feel about things. Since the earliest days of human civilization music has been a key tool for communication of stories which carried emotions through them. If we think back to our youngest years of life music has surrounded us whether it was from our parents singing us lullabies or from some sort of toy that played music we can say that musical melodies have helped shape or lives one way or another. Once we start growing up and figuring out who we are our musical preferences change; some people like classical and some like punk. We start to befriend people who like the same music as us and eventually we may attend a musical event. Our lives somewhat revolve around the music that we listen to.
Having music in your life is very important. Music is one of the most powerful things in the world today. Many people make a lot of money making music because of its popularity. It may not be the same genre of music, but everybody likes it. Personally music helps me from day to day. When I am stressed I listen to it to calm me down. When I am sad I listen to it to make me happy. When my spirit is down I listen to gospel to bring it back up. Without music I do not know what I would do. I believe that there is music for every person and problem they may have. It helps me, and I know it will help
A big reason that I love Rap Music is the fact that I compose my own personal tunes. I have written over a hundred songs. For example, I wrote a tune called; "My time will come". This song deals with the journey of life. It also includes some of my successes and failures.
For some people, rap music is just letting their feelings and emotions out in the open, but most times they are not considerate of the spiritual force that comes with the emotions. Rappers must understand that, when they are rapping their emotions and pain, yes it may sound amazing, but the spirits that comes from the dark place of the emotions, entering the minds and souls of the individual that is listening to the song. Now, why listen to rap music? Some say it calms them, others say they like the beat. If a person listen very closely to the lyrics, it is filled with profanity.

It has the potential to cure diseases such as Parkinson’s disease. Humans, of every culture and society, function with a type of rhythmic music. Music is that one friend that will always be there and will never judge us. It changes and has a huge impact on lives tremendously. Music is one of the most fantastical forms of entertainment. Its history stretches all the way from the primitive polyrhythmic drums in Africa to our modern day pop music we listen to on our phones. It has the ability to amaze us, to capture our attention and leave us in awe. It soothes the hearts of billions, and it is so deeply rooted in my life that it has touched my heart as well. Everyday I walk to the beat of the song stuck in my head and hum along to the melody. For me, to listen to music be lifted into the air by the hands of your imagination and float around for a while. You forget about your worries, your troubles and find peace within the sound. Every chapter in my life is attached with a song. Music has always been a big part of my life. Music is not just a bunch of melodies, rhythms, and vibrant sounds. It is a comfort to me. The lyrics of a song challenge my intellect and the rhythms and beats affect my emotions. Music understands me when people don’t. At times it takes me back to an event in my life or even in history. Both consciously and subconsciously my mind remembers the emotions that are attached to a certain song. It can make me feel on top of the world or the complete opposite; music can change the atmosphere and also set the mood. Music has power over my human soul. It soothes it. I cannot imagine not having music to listen to. It is a powerful force and my love for it is incredible.

As I reflect on the music I listen to I came to the conclusion that I gravitate towards songs that depict the emotions we feel through lyrics while being able to relate it to my own personal experiences.
