Mr. Paranormal Madness, better known as Mr. Pm, is a shadowy figure that is barely discernible, with 2 red glowing eyes and a purplish aura as your only giveaways he is there. If you make direct eye contact with him, he will induce a state of delirium within the victim’s mind. Many paranormal researchers have debated on if Mr. Pm was slenderman, or the other way around, but many others have tried to debunk the theory. It can be particularly hard to spot Mr. Pm, as he can blend in with his surroundings and render camouflage like that of a chameleon, but 50x faster. Mr. Pm lives in habitats where there are lots of trees. You can tell which one it’s currently living in by a mark left on a random tree. The mark consists of a circle with 2 lines on the right side of it and a half-square on the left. Inside the circle will be 6 dots arranged like they would on a die. Paranormal investigators seem to have gone missing for each time they found the mark, leading some to believe that the mark acts as a surveillance camera of sorts. Few people have seen Mr. Pm eat, but the ones that did each have their own interpretation. The most popular belief is that it sucks in its surroundings into itself …show more content…
Pm are that he has clashed with Slenderman multiple times, with Slenderman always winning. The quality of him being a hoarder is true, since some have seen high-heels, rubber bands, rocks, carrots, rubber ducks, plastic easter eggs and, in an extremely rare sight, a car tire with Silly String splattered over it. Other things are that he apparently can slide any part of his body to any place on his body, the shadows he is made up of are extremely slippery, and that he can make weapons out of sharpened sticks, even though no one knows what these are used for. On that note, the silly investigator suggested the sharpened sticks are used to carve the marks, but some have believed this to be untrue, as it would seem illogical to have 1 stick for every
It must indeed be the restless, troubled ghost of John Parkman that wanders through the
Throughout history people have always seemed to follow what notions that were considered "cool". Though I doubt that "cool" was the word used to describe these notions they were still there in some form or another. One of the greatest farces ever committed in the name of these popular perceptions was medicine. At that time, medicine that was on the cutting edge seem to have always involved some sort of noxious chemical or a typically atrocious diet. Not to mention the fact that ninety-nine percent of the doctors were men. Women's notions were immediately discounted on the bases of the preconception that women were not meant for such enlightened thoughts. No, men really knew what was best and women were meant to stand by what their husbands' said. This brings one particular husband to mind and how he was responsible for his wife going completely and utterly insane. His name is John and he is the husband to a woman who was diagnosed with a temporary nervous depression, meaning a slight hysterical tendency.
The Haunting of Hill House is a gothic horror novel written by Shirley Jackson. Supernatural occurrences take place within the house revolving around Eleanor. Eleanor is a thirty-two-year-old woman who never once has felt the sense of inclusion. Eleanor seems to never recall the feeling of delight in her adult years due to the fact that she was a caretaker for her now deceased Mother; who took away most of her freedom by being incredibly restrictive. Dr. Montague, a doctor that specializes in analysis of the supernatural rents Hill House, a supposedly haunted house. During the renting period, Dr. Montague begins an experiment inviting individuals who have had involvement in abnormal events
After he uncovers Teddy’s paper world, the uncle reacts in a manner of ignorance and derision, mocking him for his decision to occupy himself with paper dolls. The uncle dubs Teddy as a “great big lummox … playing with paper dolls”, insulting Teddy for his hobbies with a tone of amusement and hysteria. In spite of Teddy’s agitation, the uncle prefers to make a mockery out of Teddy rather than accepting his unique hobbies, suggesting the uncle’s belief that Teddy’s activities are unfitting of someone of his age. In addition, Teddy’s uncle further aggravates Teddy by continuously ridiculing him, leading him to eventually destroy his treasured paper world. Despite Teddy’s attempts at validating the reality of his paper dolls, the uncle “burst into laughter, his cheeks the colour of a tomato.” Teddy’s uncle persistence in mocking Teddy implies his disapproval of Teddy’s world, believing that his world is ludicrous and absurd for someone of his age to be occupied with. The sustained laughter of Teddy’s uncle is explicit and deliberate, intended to warn Teddy against his immature hobby, an evident symbol of society’s expectation of

Schizophrenia in The Yellow Wallpaper. Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s "The Yellow Wall-Paper," does more than just tell the story of a woman who suffers at the hands of 19th century quack medicine. Gilman created a protagonist with real emotions and a real psych that can be examined and analyzed in the context of modern psychology. In fact, understanding the psychology of the unnamed protagonist is well on the way to understanding the story itself. " The Yellow Wall-Paper," written in first-person narrative, charts the psychological state of the protagonist as she slowly deteriorates into schizophrenia (a disintegration of the personality).
The media effects coupled with predisposers, precipitants and facilitators can have dire consequences on their own, but the last subject for mass murderer that demands attention is mental illness. In order to distinguish between the various kinds of mental illness and criminal culpability, this paper will analyze the criteria for ‘insanity’ developed by Cohen and Coffin. The victim is innocent and there is no reasonable way the perpetrator should consider them an enemy. The motive is unintelligible, delusional, unrealistic, and inappropriate for the nature of the murder. The method is ill-planned and often requires a situational weapon such as a blunt or sharp object. No attempt for secrecy, concealment, to avoid guilt, or to evade capture. And there should be queer behaviour illustrated before and after the fact such as depression, suicide attempts, etc. This point does not mean to convey that mass murderers and serial killers are insane by the same definition for they are usually calculating, patient, pursue the most prolific and in some cases sadistic methods, and realize their actions are wrong. However, it is important to recognize that they are clearly exploring sociological deviance and their mental instability is a contributing part. Teams of socio-scientists researching Jonesboro and Paducah cases found the shooters were: socially marginalized from bullying/teasing, had family problems, failed to attract attention from authority figures, had an availability of guns, and suffered from mental illnesses making them more vulnerable than other youths. Perhaps the media would not have such a far reaching and tight grip on people’s lives if it were not for the culture where children are reared. The weapons that are ...

Although Science and Pseudoscience are evidently two completely different topics, what is considered to be classified as a Science or Pseudoscience is a controversy topic that’s still being debated today. While science builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the world through the scientific method, pseudoscience is a claim, belief or practice which is presented as science, but lacks support of evidence and cannot be reliably tested. Hypnosis is one topic several psychologists and those in the field of science are seemingly still debating today, in result to its several different uses. Although hypnosis is shown to work when dealing with certain phenomena’s like stress, there are several uses it is considered to be very ineffective and simply not a science.
After doing a little research I have come across a very interesting topic which is Fear-Induced Hallucination. What this paper is going to focus on is How Sleep Paralysis Triggers Hallucination. After researching, I learned that hallucination actually starts during an episode of sleep paralysis. As stated in the textbook, sleep paralysis is often compared to being an evils work of art. It results from some errors of the neural transmission in the brain during REM sleep. Also, during a frightening state of sleep paralysis, one experiences total body immobility and cannot speak or move besides little eye movements and respiration.
Within the Trinity evangelical church they use Halloween, more known as a pagan holiday, as an opportunity to reach and commit young people to Christ. They do this with the creation of the Hell House. As much as the Hell House is a fright tactic they will argue otherwise and claim the haunted house to be for educational purposes. Each Halloween they begin the Hell House by putting a think group together where they share ideas and work to create a show that fulfills their religious purposes. After ideas are taken scripts are written and rewritten. This process was shown as well as the auditions that were held for these roles in Hell House. The majority of these acting roles for Hell House are made for young adults at Trinity’s private school within the church. After all the building and preparation that goes into the Hell House the viewer finally gets to see the reality Trinity Church worked so hard to portray. When you see the ins and outs of what the church does to scare the people who come through, as a viewer you are mortified. Their lines they use are vulgar and the scenes are personal. At some moments all one can do is wide eyed watch in horror not out of fright, but shock. While other times the class laughed out of astonishment. Their attempts are not out of love like they claim for God’s children, but
Pseudoscience has long since been a nuisance of real science, even today in the 21st century some people believe in it because it can offer an easy solution to an extraordinary claim. But easier doesn’t always mean right. Basing things off ancient traditions, false causation, the mass media, misunderstood science, and ignorance can lead to this belief in pseudoscience. Lunar effect or lunar madness is a pseudoscience thats was once widely accepted. Think about it, the word lunatic, describes a crazy person, luna being after the roman goddess of the moon. Lunar Madness is a pseudoscience because it is based on ancient traditions, misunderstood science, and false causation.
For many years, people have debated whether or not spirits are real. Some people get scared at the fact that there might be something unknown lurking in their house in the middle of the night making their footsteps known to everyone in it. Maybe that person feels watched upon or feel some kind of presence in their home, or even sees shadows moving their way through rooms. Different people around the world have their own opinions based on religion and experiences when talking about angels, demons, and the spirits that have life after death. New technology is getting closer to detecting these energies happening in the world today. The history of haunting dates back many years, and more people want to get involved because of the new technology.
What causes men to ghost women that they were once pursuing a relationship with? Before analyzing the causes of men ghosting women, the definition needs to be understood.
