A weakness, they have is switching between her having a diagnostic symptom then later she’d be speaking fine. I get there is different levels of schizophrenia, but you would just expect it to be stronger when watching this movie. If viewers could figure out that she has schizophrenia then I would say yes, it would have a negative on how the public perceives someone with this disorder. They make people with this disorder are crazy people that will do anything and you always have to keep on your toes around them, but that isn’t true at all. They just display this disorder, in my opinion, wrong.

I love the fact that they use an actually representation of her father standing next to her to get the feel of what one with hallucinations sees. It also helps viewers understand when movie’s show instead of just referencing to actions. I don’t think this would have a negative impact on the public point of view just because she’s has been through a lot with her dad dying and it’s understandable missing someone that you were close to. So some viewers might see it as someone just mourning the loss of their loved one. …show more content…

If he didn’t say he couldn’t count the money due to the voices, one would think he had dyslexia. That’s the weakness in this movie. They need to show what it’s really like living with schizophrenia, and as someone that is homeless and can’t afford to pay for medication like most people can in these movies we’ve
