Walt had become mesmerized by movies and interested by how delighted the audiences were. He would join the Pfeiffer’s in impromptu performances and later took this act and enrolled in the talent contest at the Agnes theater in Marceline. After this, the Disney's moved back to Chicago and left Walt in Kansas city to finish eighth grade. When school finally ended Walt got a job selling candy on the Santa Fe railroad route between Kansas city and Chicago.
