Missile Test Center would have to employ workers thus meaning the journey towards space exploration in Cape Canaveral not only directly employed workers but indirectly as well.
During the rise of the aerospace industry there were many skeptics that believed space exploration was a waste of money time and resources. The film was aimed to convince said skeptics that the aerospace industry was in many ways beneficial. For instance the film successfully displayed the educational, cultural and economical benefits that the industry produced.
Lastly, the film was able to capture and present viewers with a glimpse of life during the time. Throughout the film one could see the type of technology that was accessible at the time. Since then tremendous innovations have arised but even with inferior technology they somehow managed to perform marvelous accomplish and became trailblazer in the unknown territory that lurks beyond our atmosphere.
