The name is Francesco, also known as Francesco “The Menace” Venturella. Let me tell you a little about myself. In Antonioni’s La Notte Moreau uses this mastery, which previously brought a new love life, to end a dying one. The film’s final sequence again finds Moreau, this time as Lidia, walking away from a love interest— Giovanni. Being a soldier was a really tough life. In the end I hated doing the same thing day after day with no change in sight, I despised the leaders that didn 't take care of their subordinates, and most importantly, I couldn 't lead my soldiers from the front anymore. Defeating the enemy, light-heartedness, and a happy ending for the lovers are all elements in a comedic play. William Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice shows that love conquers all and that you can always defeat the enemy. Even if a pound of flesh is the difference between life and death, or if one wrong person chooses the casket that decides your fate. For example, The Merchant of Venice, Antonio, not only survives the fate of having a pound of his flesh taken from his body on account of his friend that could not repay the bond to a man who is seen as the devil, but gets thrice his money back and the villain is taken down. Not to mention that Antonio’s best friend, Bassanio, not only repays the bond and gets out of his debt to help his friend, but also marries himself a rich wife. In contrast, Portia, who was bound by her dead father to marry a man whom she could never love, cheated her fate and married the man she truly loved. What makes this play a comedy is clearly evident; the villain is defeated and destroyed, and happy endings are given to those that deserve them like the Christians.
It was my final school year and the work came in stacks to prepare me for college. I had a lot of responsibility as being “the man of the house.” My job they told me was to focus on school and graduate, but also to help mom around the house with chores more often than usual. Then an outward force drew my mom’s attention more than work at home, I was left to do the housework as well as school while my mom broke-down in shambles. I was not as scared or worried as her but it really stressed her out and all I could do was stand there blocked by school and housework. With her friends and family around we finally agreed to move, so all together we moved houses in two weeks. By the end of it I realised all I did was stand there and be the outside influence.
